ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Jordan Miller was good for the job. Her managers say her work was stellar.
"She knows her stuff, she's very good at what she does," said University of Michigan spokesman Rick Fitzgerald.
But Miller didn't quite meet all of the qualifications. Sources tell Local 4 it was her ex-husband who ratted her out. He took to the social media site Reddit revealing Miller had lied on her resume.
He posted quote: "Having been royally screwed over by this woman's lies myself, I decided to file a FOIA request with U of M to obtain these documents."
Miller's resume and application said she had a bachelors degree in Journalism from Columbia.
The university believed her and gave her the Director of Social Media position, making $100,000 a year.
"We certainly never had any reason to not believe her resume," said Fitzgerald.
Sources say the ex- husband posted a degree verification document online, which showed Miller never received a degree from Columbia.

</aside> The university looked into it and found that Miller had not finished getting her degree.
"We did not do the verification by our outside source for educational background," Fitzgerald said.
Miller resigned from her position. She released a statement saying, "My intention was never to deceive the university, but i acknowledge that I made a mistake, and I'm very sorry."
