Why shouldnt I have faggot? The fact that You had respect for Big Worm says plenty .
Chappelle>>>>>>>>> Dave is on that Chris Rock level .
Why shouldnt I have faggot?
Damn. You really don't know huh? He been a hater foreverWhy shouldnt I have faggot?
I know. Fuck ol girl.Damn. You really don't know huh? He been a hater forever
Funny thing is, later in the interview he says something about K Hart and how people dont think he is funny. But says somebody likes those jokes. So he doesnt hate on Kevin the same way. And we all clearly know Dave is funier.Didnt listen but its clearly something personal Faizon has against the guy. So personal that hes willing to continue to make a complete ass of himself in the process.
It seems like Daves critics are all chitlin circuit guys. Him, Epps, and Aries have all been critical about him while implying that his success is due to white fanbase and not talent. Straight up crabs.
True. But if you really think about it, the Chappelle show was a hood classic. That shit wasn't necessarily geard towards white people. It was a pretty hood show. Or am I wrong? He almost had a good point, If he would have just narrowed it to a black perspective.
I think Dave is not only hilarious, but is the best improvisational comedian maybe ever; But Dave popularity does stem from white people liking him.
He should have just said that. He made it into like "what hood classics" does dave have? But Dave has never been the "black peoples" comedian.
Bullshit. White people love Hanibal Burress, Michael Che and Wanda Sykes too.But Dave popularity does stem from white people liking him.
I lot of black folk didn't know who Chappelle was nor did they think he was funny before the show. He came up working in front of mostly white audiences before that.True. But if you really think about it, the Chappelle show was a hood classic. That shit wasn't necessarily geard towards white people. It was a pretty hood show. Or am I wrong?

Daves popularity stems from his fucking greatness. The guy is brilliant. And he manages to be embraced by all demographics.
You wanna see some wack shit that you won't believe Netflix paid money for; then check out "Ripped"
Hold this L.
As usual, so eloquently put, ESPECIALLY the first bit about maturation = appreciation. The thing is comedians like Dave and Chris Rock take a certain degree of intelligence and maturity to be appreciated.
Faizon has always come across as someone who is ignorant and not very intelligent so I'm not really surprised by his opinion of Dave.
I don't even think its hating I just think Faizon seems to embrace and even take pride in the worst of us and particularly in individuals who represent the worst of us so therefore I think he isn't capable of relating to a comedian like Dave.

Dave worked the comedy circuit heavy bro. Thats how he came up. He was doing stand up with name brand adults since he was a teen. I get what you're saying. Im just saying it isnt accurate as talent trumps all. There have been numerous black celebs/actors/comedians/entertainers that have had a significant white fanbase yet still dont reach a modicum of Daves success. The guy is popular because hes in the conversation of GOAT in his chosen profession.Im speaking on how he came up.
Half Baked, Robin hood, 200 cigarettes? Daves career has not been geared to a black audience. And Chapelle show gradually got popular with black people later on.
