That's how these things go. Comey said from the outset that he's not commenting on any ongoing investigation, and that's as solid a policy as the FBI has ever had...but elected officials at these hearings ask them anyway to both get the questions on the record and for grandstanding purposes.
And sometimes, rarely, somebody testifying actually lets something slip.
Nothing will happen.
As seen in the hearings today the republicans are trying to prosecute whistleblowers and Journalist who report the leaks. Yes, republicans are trying to imprison the media for reporting on the Trump administrations treasonist ties to Russia.
Republicans have said nothing about Russia or Trump's lies.
