He was one of those uppity types that hated his people. Very miserable and mean SOB. His death was ironic though. He was killed by those who he most wanted to be like. I took no satisfaction in the way he died but the lesson was real to all black people who hate themselves. These cacs don't like you no matter how much you try to be like them. Sgt. Waters was a tragic and sometimes misunderstood character but I did not find him particularly to be a bad guy.

Belly in a sense really did not set off the villain meter. It was street dudes killing street dudes. Meth's character was a little more ruthless than the rest in the movie. He got beat to death by a woman he was attacking.

I didn't hate either, but they were killers who killed some liked characters and innocent people. There are real people walking around like those two or are already in prison who are soldiers and victims of their environment, but it does not absolve them of the pain they caused, especially when it comes to innocent people there paid a price for the actions of criminals.
