FLORIDA (WLS) -- A Florida state trooper is okay after he was punched in the face during a traffic stop.

Dash cam video showed the scuffle between the trooper and a man that was walking along an interstate.

During a search, the man started arguing with the trooper before punching him in the face. Then, he ran off.

Several people who were passing by saw what was happening and stopped to help the trooper.

That Florida State Trooper knew better. The perp was white. He knew if he was to shoot them he would get fired. You can only shoot black people and get away with it

Also the cop was standing very close to him.

Normally in those situations the cop keeps a distance of over 6’ and has his hand hovering above his firearm as he talks with you while eyeing you up and down.

I suspect they only do that with Black folks going by this video.
