My favorite sit-com of all time....Frank's Place.
Starred Tim Reid, and Daphne Maxwell Reid...who was fine, fine, fine.
Jlo was in one episode if I remember correctly.
Roc.
My favorite sit-com of all time....Frank's Place.
It only lasted one season...the network must have changed it's time slot at least twice,so it never built a following.
It took place in New Orleans, had great music...and no laugh track.
Starred Tim Reid, and Daphne Maxwell Reid...who was fine, fine, fine.
It's never been released on DVD...guess there are all kinds of issues with the music.
I remember all those shows in the original post, though some of them only from rerunning on BET (Grady, Sanford Manor).
Here are a few more forgotten ones...someone else can look for clips and shit
THE NEW ODD COUPLE - starred the actor who played Lamont on Sanford & Son and the black guy from Barney Miller as Oscar and Felix.
THE REDD FOXX SHOW - I think this was the name, not sure. It had like 1 season in the 80's (probably not a full season)
CHARLIE AND COMPANY - Flip Wilson sitcom in the 80's with Urkel (before he was Urkel) as his son.
Another one I can't remember the name of from the 90's that starred DOUG E DOUG and FLEX as high school kids...
Excellent post, its bringing back memories. How y'all forget That's My Mama, what was the show with the Jamaican dude BET use to play? Also Uptown Comedy, kid and play cartoon, Roc, hammer cartoon, u wouldn't believe how many people I mention Out All Night to and they don't remember it.....shyt that's the Vivica Fox I was crazy about not how she looks today. NY Undercover, etc.....
