It kinda all makes sense now cause I remember years ago like around 2016-ish seeing Joy Taylor very sporadically as a guest host or moderator when the main talent was away. Then in just the blink of an eye all of a sudden she is the main "go to moderator" of any sports radio talk show with no sports journalism or professional athletic experience. I never gave it too much deep analysis but on the surface it would always cross my mind as to why she would be the main face of any new sports talk show for FOX.

She hosted a show in Miami and did a few other things. But FOXsports was her big break. I actually think she does a decent job of moderating. The means she may have took to get there is now questionable.
