I remember when this movie came out back '85.
I FUCKING LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!!
And after seeing that movie, I was inspired to read "The Destroyer" paperback series and the later comic book series by Marvel Comics.
For me; no matter what films he appeared in, Fred Ward will always be the real Remo Williams.

I didn’t know they did a sequel to this movie. Man a Destroyer series done right would be a hit! In the books he be doing some wild ass shit. Chiun survived a nuclear detonation at ground zero by burrowing into the ground. Reno dug him up months later curled up into a tiny little ball lol
Sadly, they never made a sequel to the movie.
But they did try to make a follow up TV series, which was fucking AWFUL!!!!
