Serious question: Have you taken care of your own funeral so your family doesn't?

My family knows to NOT have a damn funeral for me. Donate my body to science, feed it to some wolves, fuck I care? Just do not give those jackals at a damn funeral home or a fucking church I never attended a red cent of the money I leave behind! 
Funerals are a ripoff. I helped plan my aunts funeral after she died suddenly a few years ago. They charge you a grip just to dig the hole, another charge to put the dirt back in the hole. You can’t just buy one plot, you gotta buy two. Church rental, casket, police escort. It isn’t worth it!
Then the people at the funeral home play the fake sympathy role acting all concerned, all while running the price up on your ass. It’s really a fucked up process. The more you grieve, the more money you spend trying to do something “nice” for your loved one.

I literally had to check to make sure I didn't write this, cuz I've said the part about feeding my body to animals forever.... usually sharks.
Wife and I both agree cremation no funeral.

My kids will probably still want to have a memorial service with a repast. But, I’ll be plant food by then
Yeah, just cremate my body and throw the ashes in the ocean. I hope to be in Africa when I die. Hopefully, that will be 100 years from now. But, if I die sooner and I am in America, my wife will take my ashes to West Africa and dump me in the ocean when she get to the coast. It is a waste of resources when it just a going away ceremony. Just get a cousin, or a nephew or niece to say nice things and wish you off. The world to caught up in traditions and ceremony. Some of it don't have to happen. Just keep the shit simple and let the dead find its new place in the cosmos.
I'm going to ask to be cremated like my father. Funeral homes are rip offs and I aint into the church like that.

My potna Poochie Man got killed in '05, we go out their on his bday every year. I've only missed like 2-3 years.
First few years I would go out there and just sit or stand and talk, it was peaceful and therapeutic.
My grandmother is in the same cemetery, passed in 2000.

There is a reason why the black cemetery Burr Oak was caught digging up bodies and reselling plots after they ran out of space.

Even though Im a veteran I told my kids to have me cremated , no funeral , no memorial services not a fucking thing , Im leaving them enough money to do whatever they want .. Got insurance policies and a house , fuck it they will be better off than i was . Life is good

Fuck no. I need to buy a plot near my fam before the spots run out (not even sure if I want burial or cremation, but would like a spot near them if I go that route), but that's as close as I will get.
I ain't talking to no damn funeral director about ME. lol, that just seems like talking shit into existence. I have plenty life insurance and between that, property, savings and retirement accounts, if I were to go young(well, youngish), my beneficiary will not have a problem taking care of the bill...

Having it pre planned can save trouble. You dont want to die and have a mutha fucka throw your ass in a pauper's grave that is overrun by grass within 2 1/2 years. Funerals can be complete rip offs. They are charging MF's 20k+ for a graveside (no limos either) where they basically embalm your ass, put you in a casket, bring a karaoke machine for 30 mins, and dump yo ass in the ground. Oh yeah, to the people hollering cremation, they still will have to be embalmed by a funeral home and place in a "rental" casket for a "service". Its a reason that in many towns in America, the most successful businesses in the black community have been funeral homes, sadly.
