This. Plus she was probably thinking why should she have mercy? What if Tyrion was seettng her up? What if Cersei didn't come quietly? Why take the chance and leave her alive. She didn't give any fucks, covered all of her basis. She should have drove the dragon right up to her window and just sat there in front of her.

The last major battle at Kings Landing, the Battle of Blackwater, was defended by Tyrion with the help of wildfire. He should know it was still there and a potential threat.
The question could be asked again where was Davos? What say you? Ok, smuggling a boat... to a landing outside next to the water...
But where was he seen?
It would have made more sense to me if those wildfires were set off because Tyrion wanted to reduce the chances Cersei used it... Like some real battle strategy would be to get rid of it or make it inert.
Not to help get his sister and Jaime out like he wanted.
It was a dumb move by Tyrion and a lot of what he asks is questionable and if I were Davos, I would have said no.

Like I said earlier, having those scorpions being effective against a dragon was stupid in last week’s episode. No way with how fast and nimble the dragons are they would be effective. It would take a lucky shot to be that accurate from so far away on a target moving that fast
I can answer this. Last week she was caught by surprise. They were already firing when she came around the mountain. She’s actually been pretty good when she knows something is coming.
If you read my post from last week and a few hours ago. I said if she comes in “hot” they can’t adjust. Remember those scorpions take a lot of manpower to operate and turn. She can maneuver the dragon quicker than they can turn and adjust. And nobody is gonna try to man a scorpion and hot fire coming straight at them.
