Game Of Thrones: The Sopranos with swords or Dynasty in chainmail?

That would be completely out of character for Jon.

Dany burning down King's Landing is not out of character. Literally, Tyrion and Varys repeatedly talked her out of it for seasons. She's always wanted to completely burn it down.

So all they need to do is have a few characters discuss how they feel like Jon Snow might be feeling rapey, and when he rapes Sansa the following episode that's sufficient build up for you? That would make it "in character"?

That would be lame. However if for several seasons we heard him threaten to rape/attack her and/or had awkward scenes with her it would be in character.

That's stupid.

Dany has repeatedly swung being attempting to be just and roasting people. She's been doing it the entire show. It's literally her character's main struggle and she had several reasons (her best friend being beheaded by the mountain, tyrion and varys betraying her, two of her dragons being killed, tyrion always fucking up when it comes to Cersei, Jon spreading the word that he had a true claim to the Iron Throne.... and.. her initially saying she should just burn the city down and conquer it from the beginning) to finally snap.

And those aren't even all the subtle things nor all the times she's possibly gone too far when she could have been merciful.

Jon, on the other hand, has never been attempted to physically harm a woman unless he was defending his life or someone else's.

And if he had already raped several times but only bad people.

Man that Daenerys kool-aid is as strong as that Trump kool-aid. If she says next week it wasn’t her, I’ll bet these cats would believe her

naah man, that's the most unrealistic thing ever. Why didn't any other character snap? Bran been battling ice zombies, so was Jon. Jon got sh'murdered, and betrayed and all sorts of shit. He's a Targaryen, he ain't snap and he's been through worse shit by far. So please tell me how any of this makes sense..

Ummm what? Lol. She threatened to burn the city before. Had to be talked out of it by Tyrion and Varys. What show have you been watching?

She is full targ. Inbreeding.

Also with power one can snap easier. She got a fucking dragon and has been itching to use them to burn whoever doesn’t bend the knee.

Cersei had two chances to kill Dany. When they brought the whight in season 7 when they all met, and when Dany came to the gates. I know it would of ended the books/show but a smart person would of ended her ass right then and there. Fuck your army bitch.

No one answered the question.

What happened between the end of the last episode and the beginning of this one???!!!!!

Cersei had them! She could have had her archers hit them up!!!! What happened?

She just let them go back to camp?
Overconfidence. Denial of what can come. Never forget Tywin told all of us about Cersei. She thinks she is smarter than everyone else. She thinks she is safe with the Golden company and scorpions. She thinks her men will fight for her no matter what. Etc. Cersei isn’t you. She isn’t me. She doesn’t have to do exactly what we would do.
^^^ Agreed. It was overconfidence.

Also let’s not forget that ‘killing people immediately’ doesn’t always happen like that on tv shows. :smh: Enemies don’t always take advantage of their opportunities to get rid of each other, like we assume they will. :dunno:

HBO: The Sopranos is the perfect example.

New Jersey & New York were literally at War with each other.... but whenever they AGREE to have a ‘sit down’... and they are ‘just talking’.... nobody is trying to kill their enemy ‘right then & there’. :smh: Even if they have the upper hand & have them severely outnumbered.

For example >> Tony Soprano shows up in NYC with Silvio & Christopher.... they are ALONE & severely outnumbered.

All 3 of them could have been easily killed in the bar, right on the spot...

But sometimes folks DO take out their enemies during a sit down... and HBO: The Wire is a perfect example of this, when Little Kevin gets abducted after talking to Marlo...

Ask yourself... are those Mobsters on the Sopranos ‘just not as smart’ as Marlo was on the Wire?

Either way it goes... It’s always done for ‘dramatic purposes’. Because that’s HOW tv shows are written. It’s not always as ‘black & white’ as we think it should be.

But a lot of folks who have been complaining about these last few episodes of “Game of Thrones” seemed to have forgotten these basic aspects of television.

I been watching a lot of these ‘YouTube reactors’ who been bitching about everything... they sit & watch the show.... and the whole time they are constantly, constantly, constantly second-guessing every single second of every single scene & every piece of dialog :smh:... so by the end of the episode they have formed an opinion of ‘how the episode should have gone’ in their heads... no matter ‘how many times they are wrong’... and they start bitching when the show doesn’t match what they THOUGHT should’ve happened.

Like these 2. Every single scene they are steady ‘predicting’ what is about to happen... :smh:.. and getting it wrong.

Meanwhile, notice how the folks who simply just ‘watch what is happening’ are enjoying the final episodes a whole lot MORE  simply because they are not constantly trying to predict every single outcome... of every single second... of every single character... and every single event...

Sansa did not .....repeat... did not fly around on her dragon and burn innocent civilians without pause or mercy...

Thats on Sansa?

If you're not going to at least acknowledge that Sansa likely didn't help the situation and more likely help contributed to what happened then we have nothing to discuss.
Did Sansa fly around and x,y,z..NO! But you're completely ignoring her role in telling Tyrion Jon's secret and the snowballing effect it had on what happened.

Does Varis die? Does Dany think Jon or sometone else betray her? Does she have even less trust of Tyrion? Dany buring down everthing is part a product of those direct situations.

ALL OF THAT WAS BECAUSE OF SANSA!!

I guess you also believe that whole sequence of things was written that way...because it had no effect on the outcome?

I see it now, all of Westeros will blame Sansa for what Daenerys did.

Sansa is playing the chaos is a ladder game to put one of her own on the throne. That comes with consequences as we all see.

Here's the rewrite we were hoping for

D6dICXGU8AU5hBx.jpg:large
Not sure if serious... but if u are, dont forget...
Ned, Cat, and Robb's ghost appear jedi style and give a nod while fading out...
Dany accidentally drank some wildfire and Jon was able to get her an antidote to her madness...
The Hound emerges from the fire Phoenix style...
Oh and then a portal opens and its Harry Potter along with Hiccup and Toothless with a horde of dragons to clean up Kings Landing...

That's obvious but you have some posters acting like Sansa had zero to do with what happen. Like she's Bron chilling in her wheel chair with eyes in the sky.
Ridiculous type of position!

She had nothing to do with Daenerys murdering innocent people. Daenerys won the battle then on her own decided to light them niggas up. And that is the reason Sansa didn't trust her, not because she wanted to put one of her own on the thrown.
