this is not what the typical ghanaian funeral is like. not at all. if anything at all, this particular one is what's about to start a trend (albeit an inappropriate one) in Ghana. In this day and age of glamorizing everything on social media, my people being the biggest imitators of all things good and stupid, will undoubtedly start making all funerals this way. Nothing is sacred anymore. It appears to me the deceased was probably a woman of means or was married to a man of means who then decided to give her a "fancy" funeral and today everything gotta be photographed, videoed, and edited to be instagram worthy. that is what you just saw here

Why would people dancing smiling and celebrating the life of someone, most likely the way they want to be celebrated not Sacred?

Or inappropriate? Who made you the police on what other people do.

If they love it, I love it for them.

Assuming that is the case.

You know people love making shit about them even when someone else dies so I can see it being a great thing if it's truly what the person would have wanted but I can see it moreso being just one more thing that people do for validation on social media.
