What do you mean? If Not Like Us not on this one I can’t see them adding it to a future project unless it’s a greatest hits.
Im saying hes not adding Not like Us to an album because it wasnt meant for an album; this album and the next one coming are meant to be stand a lone projects; not particular catering to the drake beef...

Y'all seen this sh!t... Take it with a grain of salt

NFL reportedly contacted Lil Wayne to replace

This whole story reads as if a fan wrote it speaking about Wayne and Kendrick responses.

Kendrick has a catalog.
If Drake as 1 leg to stand on regarding Not Like US, the 1 song can be dropped from the show.

I mean I don’t deny that I’m just saying I noticed a tactic labels use is out a bit singles on a album as a bonus track or deluxe edition track and it boosts numbers.

Naw we can’t say that. He came in with Swimming Pools. They still play that on the radio in Dallas to this day lol. He had some records that had potential to be commercial singles I don’t know why they didn’t drop Die Hard.
But that's kinda my point
The joints were in the flow not made to try and break through

And im not saying it to diminish the other artists on the list at all!
Just cool he's up there sort of without intentionally trying to make singles

And again there's nothing wrong with intentionally trying to make singles

Thats crazy. Not surprised tho Nicki was as big as it could get. I think if cardi would have dropped more albums she would be up there too.

But I still dont like to comparing the streaming era with the physical era.

Gawd damn...So now everything is fake?

(which I've been saying for years but if Kendrick dint say it yall don't hear)

He BEEN had this record.

But you right... we need to audit ALL THESE ARTISTS NOW.

ALL OF THEM.
Remember us having this convo not too long ago. Numbers dont really mean much to in streaming era.

Yeah 21 up there now that’s shocking. I know he got some features but I didn’t realize that many lol.
That's why the kid from Toronto called him up; he learned that from the Marcy Projects rapper who just happens to look like a camel and dickrides.

Happy pre-Ether Day.

I agree. The physical era was completely different animal and required the individual to put in more effort to get the music. And it was much more of an emersive experience. Like think about how many albums you have in your phone vs how many times you went to a record shop. Last week I bought a Stephanie Mills album and the Lady In Red soundtrack album that was done by Stevie Wonder. And I found that Fat Boys record the did with Freddy Kruger. That me is getting hung on the wall in a frame. Found them at a second hand shop.

Im cool with comparing eras as it relates to listening to music . All streaming is is radio play that an individual controls instead of the radio stations controlling themselves. But the comparison of streaming to sales is just ridiculous. I still don’t understand how they get away with that….

They would if they actually didn’t make streaming sales. That’s a way to cheat artists out of royalties. Streaming services are just advance radio services. So it should be radio play which would give artists more royalties. Shit is ridiculous…

Jay did do that. But the thing about Jay is he never changed who he was a rapper to do it. Drake dick rode your sound, culture and then taxes you for it.

Yeah I’m sure no one benefits more than Drake 78 is wild but are these top 10 records? Still a crazy accomplishment I’ll give him that. But it for sure is a different era the greats wasn’t doing all this record hopping lol.

Imagine the greats in streaming era. Imagine people in that era being able to listen to anything they want when they want. They would be right up there with them. Also those are just hip hop top 10…

He got the most help from labels because he appealed the most to white peoples…
They're in the moving SKU business. Making music to make screwfaces in Target. Do you know how torturous of an existence for you to spend $30 on a children’s hoody made in Vietnam?

But the music is only to condition the future employers of Americans. We think its music for us when its a lidocaine for their shitty ideas.

So, are we not privy to Young Chris' story in this timeline?

Not only should a rapper not have that many hits, I'm going to say: it’s antithetical to the culture to have that many songs charting. It comes across as mechanical and cotton gin-esque.

Imagine the hip-hop soil after a Drake and the ecological-like disaster that would it would present. You would have to move west. Why do you sell moving west knowing that California is a Free-State? You sell the stories of gold mines.

Here yall go lol….I like Chris but let’s be for real…jacking his flow wasn’t done for monetary gain. Nobody was jacking his flow and getting number ones but J lol…
Do you know what's amazing about time? Have you ever listened to a Young Chris mixtape? Its awful. Its tripe and pedantic. We don't have that problem with Quinton Miller or whatever his fucking name is. We were spared with him not making music. Who's that loser who used to write Kanye’s stuff? Just feed the beast and shut the fuck up. I grew up telling the world the world needed an Ab Liva album. Thank god for time.

This is why the lawsuit is bogus. Aubrey had no problems when the monster used bot farms to boost his singles. No one complained. He was fine when the monster used those same bot farms to boost his songs calling Kendrick's woman whore and his son a bastard. But he wants to sue when the monster did the same for his opp. Goofy shit. USDA Grade A goofy shit. And I've seen the arguments about "being called a pedo is way worse than w woman beat." Kendrick said, "if you take it there, I'm taking it further..."

Because a fan probably did write it. I didn't see an author's name attached to the article and the source is MediaTakeout. Ak wrote that shit

The idea that Nike who engages in child labor and human decency violations will feel conflicted next to a man who knocked up a French sex worker is for the folk genre and not Hip Hop.

Thats exact my point lol.
Streaming count as sales now. With all these streaming farms and algorithm bs it just doesnt impress me.

The reason why I bought it up cause a lot of artist on the list where from the physical era.

I mean dont get me wrong they had their tactics in the physical era. But nah if 50 or Nelly had streaming back then they would prolly do double the numbers or even more than drake.

What were the interest rates during those eras?

Jay's mind was Jay's mind. Stealing Chris' flow didn't make him a better writer. But it made what he said sound more modern (at the time). Jay's been a chameleon since Hawaiian Sophie. He's evolved with the game. There's a reason Jay ran with Chris' flow; it was dope. But he still stole that flow and I'm glad folks are starting to talk about it.

Money is a funny thing. Take Poor Righteous Teachers as an example. As group they're rapping about positive stuff. Its clearly a derivative of other groups — clearly a marketing tactic. However, when you look and listen to the solo projects you're left realizing how dope money is. Same rapper but the perspective is from the other end. The brother went from rapping about the pyramids to selling dope.
