Again, I'm not mad at any entertainer suing the industry. My only argument is the timing and the who. This lawsuit isn't an altruistic fight for the little guy. And maybe it doesn't have to be. But I don't think Drake really wants this to go to court because that would expose all the shady things UMG/Apple/Spotify did FOR Drake. And Pusha was hinting at that back before the surgical summer:

"The bigger question is how the Russians did it
It was written like Nas, but it came from Quentin
At the mercy of a game where the codes is missin"

It's clear the Quentin like was about ghostwriting but the "How the Russians did it" is clearly talking about how bots helped Trump in 2016. "At the mercy of a game where the codes is missing" is also a double entendre. The codes about how Drake and Kanye play a weird game of being friends then not, but the "codes is missing" is also talking about the lack of transparency in this digital world.
