and on a good night will pick up a cbc signal from hamilton Ont.. and i will hear all there hiphop,,R&B and caribbean artist..and was surprised

I remember buying the Rascalz’s debut album on cassette tape in junior high 30 years ago.
We had a cool art teacher last period in high school a few years later around 96 or 97. There was a nice stereo in that class and it was at the end of the hall on the back wall of the room. She let us bring in CDs and mixtapes to play while we worked on our projects. I often brought in their 2nd or 3rd album called Cash Crop as a number of classmates liked it.

It was amazing seeing his career take off post-Degrassi. Legit has become an international star. Happy for him. That chance to shine on a popular show was great for the early career boost with the mixtapes. Plenty of people were tuning into the show via CTV / Nickelodeon. Right back in the early-2000s when The O.C. was getting going on Fox.
