I'm thinking about taking myself and the future Mrs. to either Spain or Japan (haven't decided which cities). I figured I'd ask the well-traveled BGOL fam if they've used or considered airbnb? Pros/cons? Any run ins with racism? Anything I should be wary/aware of?

It's cool. There isn't anything to say. You meet the host, they give you the keys, some tell you what rules they have or about the area, and they leave.
