I love heist movies. Particularly, when the bad guy gets away. Now, they don't make a whole lot of the ladder because they don't want people thinking that you can succeed in a life of crime, or want people to think the cops are good and therefore gpog at thrit jobs, but who doesn't like a good heist movie?
A few of the classics are Heat (1995), The Town (2010), Inside Man (2006). Old favorites like The Sting (1973) are good, and at least the first (modern) Oceans 11 (2001) should be noted. Even Set it Off (1996).
One of my favorites are the genre is an underrated movie with lots of good dialogue, Heist (2001) with Delroy Lindo, Gene Hackman and the late Ricky Jay.
Recently, Den of The (2018) was a favorite of mine.
