I got cooperative solar and it does work. Paid almost 5 months of my electricity bill last year. Check with your power company and sign up for cooperative solar. I rent two panels.
Cause a lot of humans suck at mathI don't understand why anyone would be interested in this after running the numbers. That dude said the system would cost $320 a month for 20 years! Who the fuck uses that much power in their house?!? As soon as I heard that the conversation is over.
Damn, she's fine.
Damn that company is dirty as hell and they way overcharging even if they did the service correctly. Also that female reporter is fine.

How much are you paying a month for the cost of the solar?
can you give more infoI’ve had Sunrun. Now I have Tesla solar. Tesla solar is fantastic! Because of our powerwalls we didn’t have power in our area for 4 hours yesterday and didn’t realize it.
I’ve had a $8 monthly electric bill on a 10k sq ft house. I’ve had much higher bills in the winter though. Making changes and also getting more powerwalls.
keep us postedWait....I got my panels for free through my state. Covid dragged the process out like a mfkr. They've been on my roof for just under a year. JUUUUST got all the bullshit with my city squared away, panels "activated" I haven't received a solar bill..
However....my last electric bill was 7 dollars, and the previous was 340.
I called the solar company and they said not to worry as they are finalizing the billing and I should get my first bill soon. She made it sound like I'm just getting free juice until they get their shit together.
I have no idea what's about to happen next when it comes to how much I will be paying.
Will dokeep us posted
How much did it cost you to install it? A salesperson just left my house and he gave me a $51k quote. I was considering it but I love my roofline without panels, so it's a no for me. I also have all efficient appliances and AC.I’ve had Sunrun. Now I have Tesla solar. Tesla solar is fantastic! Like that guy said... a lot of hucksters out there... preying on the unsuspecting, that will eat up anything they say... worse than a Texas used car salesmanI got cooperative solar and it does work. Im about a year in, and my panels paid for at least 4 months of my electricity last year. It just accumulates at National Grid, and during the winter months my panels paid nat grid...if that makes sensekeep us posted
about how much do you use daily? For May 2023, my electric bill is $12 so far. I’m having 2 more Tesla Powerwalls installed right now. God forbid, if there’s another lengthy power outage we should be good for about 24 hours. After that, the sun will have to make up the difference.
Seeing that a power outage is more likely in the summer rather than winter, it shouldn’t be a problem. Our solar panels are producing around 40 kwh per day.
so do you accumulate credit during the bright months and spend that during the winterIm about a year in, and my panels paid for at least 4 months of my electricity last year. It just accumulates at National Grid, and during the winter months my panels paid nat grid...if that makes sense
so do you accumulate credit during the bright months and spend that during the winter
if so does that mean you produce more than you use
How much are you paying a month for the cost of the solar?
Yes, you do. So in the Fall I still had no bill because the end of Summer credit hit my account. By Nov-Dec Bill converted to normal which is about $100-$200 but I almost never hit $200 as big as my house is. In Summer, yep because I run my AC 24/7. You can hang cow slabs in this mf. Only 2 people really are in the house.so do you accumulate credit during the bright months and spend that during the winter

My pops is 90yrs old and signed a contract that was double the going rate on a 7KV installation. He did it even though we showed him all the numbers didnt add up . The salesman won't stop by the house or call anymore because of the confrontation we had . Still trying to find a way to break the contractMy pops dealing with something similar where a solar company promised him his bill would be real cheap but shit is almost the same without the panels.
