Manage “Only receive calls & texts from your phone contacts”
Important: If you make a 911 call, "Only receive calls and texts from your phone contacts" turns off for 48 hours to allow callbacks from unknown first responders.
On your Android device, open the Google Fi app Google Fi.
Under “Phone Settings,” tap Privacy & security.
Under “Spam and contact settings,” tap Manage contact settings.
Turn Only receive calls and texts from your phone contacts on or off.
If you don’t have contact syncing on, we ask you to turn it on.

Please post a screenshot of these texts going straight to spam and blocked.
For a person looking a job this isn't good because legitimate businesses will go straight to voicemail.

Type Stop on the message and then block.
but you can get a spam app
With my phone all the spam text are blocked and go into a spam folder/section. I still receive notifications that I received a spam message that i can click on and see all of the spam text messages. You could have something similar in your text options menu.If I'm not getting them....how would I post if they're blocked

I have been getting swarmed by both political parties, this election season. They have gotten desperate and stalkish probably because I will be traveling to various countries soon.

Just surrender to them. Give up all hope. Failure IS an option.
The ignore option works marvelously. I've tested it out on a few folks about the place. There is no excuse for seeing posts from folks if you don't want to.
I have been doing my research coming on here and making anti-Democrat or pro-Trump statements. The next thing you know out of the blue, I get a canvasser knocking on my door, trying to intimidate me.
