I hear you. I've been employed since I was 14 (summers full time during college). So for over 20 years I've held down steady jobs. Got laid off last week and thinking about starting my own thing, trying to see what works for the fam while they've been laid off. Any negatives that affect that unemployment check while collecting a check?

I've been doing these tips and others. But ebay finds out you selling amazon they will close you acct and amazon will do the same. It hasn't happen to me but it has happen to people i know. DSD is a scam.

I did it for a month....i dunno if it varies from state to state but unemployment in Texas SUCKS!!!

At one time you would get 80% of your monthly salary, then it would slowly decrease as time went by.

When i was on it 2 years ago for that month they took 80% of my YEARLY SALARY and split that shit into 26 equal payments.

You talking about HURTING! My monthly income from unemployment was $100 less than one of my biweekly checks.

At that point i said to myself I'll never get caught out like that again. If i see ANY writing on the wall I'm leaving....any rumors of cutbacks, I'm leaving....start doing layoffs but tell me "you're safe, spider..." fuck you I'M LEAVING
