Looks like fun, but when you think about it, where does all the waste water and sewage go in NYC or any city for that matter?!?!

Folks don't have a backyard cesspit and runoff to deal with it.

We got YT folks down here trying to swim in the Anacostia River of all places. They keep cancelling due to water conditions. Us natives keep warning these goofy transplants with plans to swim in that river that it's full of bodies and other bullshit. They keep talking that "we're cleaning it up."

Love those YouTube channels that go magnet fishing in rivers and lakes.

They find all types of things:
Guns and other evidence used in murders
Military grade weapons and equipment (rocket launchers, grenades etc.)
Civil war era shells and cannon
Cars of people that ran off bridges

It goes to a sewer treatment center and then is released. The EPA drops heavy fines for being out of compliance

Everyone on sewer goes to the treatment plant which routes the cleaned water back into nature. Everyone on septic just has greener grass in their yard.

NYC cleans up to 90% and pumps it back into th East River....which connects to? During heavy rains and storms the sewage goes directly into the rivers.

Dude magnet fished out a safe with about $1M in recently-minted cash out of Flushing Bay near Citi Field in Queens. Mostly waterlogged but he will recover about $700k of it.
