Ian Holm - Alien - Lord of the Rings dies

First saw dude in Alien. Then Lord of the Rings. I haven't seen a lot of his work. But remember Alien most.

How he grabbed Yaphet Kotto's chest while strangling Ripley. Its a great scene.
The other is when Ripley is on the computer and find out the true orders of the Nostromo, then leans back
and Ash is right in her face. That tension between Ash/Ripley before the attack begins. To me its better than the chest burster scene.
As far as memorable scenes from Alien.

lol, I watched this movie so many times. I actually FF thru most of Alien parts. All the drama involving Ash, and that final
scene with Ripley kicking the Alien out of the ship was the best.
