Both inflation and price gouging = corporate greed and some are to damn dumb to even realize it. There is no shortage on any commodities or lack of production of any goods just corporations maximizing the benefits of the tax breaks given to them by Diaper Donnie that's sending profits and bonuses through the roof.
Think of inflation as Run Yo Pockets authorized and approved by the good folks in charge of the treasury. You can’t have inflation without a rise in the interest rate. Think of interest rates as mechanism to keep poor people in their poor ass place. Inflation eats away at debts and the interest rate hike makes sure there are no real economic gains made by us poor bastards.
Inflation also makes sure Economic Southern nations don’t think about trying to gain the ability for self governance through innovation.
