the iron dome is highly effective against rocket and mortar attacks.........but if Iran were to use cruise missiles in an attack,...then thats a different story.
only minimal testing has been done with the iron dome against a cruise missile attack, cuz thats not what it was designed for.
Which is why the US is not adopting the iron dome for its own type of defense. Instead, they are waiting on the Enduring Shield missile defense system that should be completed by the end of this year.........that would be able to be used like Iron Dome to defend against cruise missile attacks.

I am on the fence about this threat because Israel has a right to defend itself, but at the same time Israel has been very heavy handed. The United States can only do so much to protect them, especially if Trump leaked their secrets to other people.
