No shade my brother, but I personally believe that the reason why many brothers on BGOL (and in the world in general) are single is because they do not understand what love is and the difference between simping and publicly expressing your love and admiration for your queen. It's understandable because many brothers grew up in single parent homes where the mother never displayed a positive outlook on relationships. Conversely, those same brothers never saw their fathers show unrestricted love to a woman, including the mother of their children.

One of Jay Z's best lines ever:

The problem is, you dudes treat the one that you lovin'
With the same respect that you treat the one that you humpin'

To put another log on that fire: There is a difference between being in love and simping. I think much of it has to do with buying the object of your affections things to win or keep their love. I mean songs like "Whateva u like", "The glamorous life" and a host of others should be in a whole different category than "The Light" by Common or Pharaoh Monch, "I need Love" or even "Me and My Bitch".

Buying bitches is really bordering on tricking for me. I need to know my girl is ride or die.

'Who hurt you' is an argument popular among bitches.

Ironic that me calling you out for your programming triggered a display of said programming.

It's not programming to respect and protect black women.

but it is a sure sign of mental defect to hate black women if you are a black man.

btw

it isn't an argument it is a question.. There has to be a reason for your apparent hatred of black women since supposedly you came from one

Memories on the corners with the fo's and the mo's
Walk to the store for the rose, talking straightforward to hoes
Got uncles that smoke, and some put blow up they nose
To cope with the lows, the wind is cold and it blows
In their socks and their soles, niggas holding they rolls
Corners leave souls opened and closed, hoping for mo'
With nowhere to go, niggas rolling in droves
They shoot the wrong way, cause they ain’t knowin' their goals
The streets ain’t safe cause they ain’t knowing the code
By the foes I was told, either focus or fold
Got cousins with flows, hope they open some doors
So we can cop clothes and roll in a Rolls
Now I roll in a Olds, with windows that don’t roll
Down the roads where cars get broken and stole
These are the stories told by Stony and Cottage Grove
The world is cold, the block is hot as a stove
On the corners
