However, I think it's important that she gets nailed down for a 100 day plan for black issues like she was willing to state for immigration issues and Bernie was willing to state for banks. Making her a one term President if she doesn't follow through. It has to start early though and we have to get qualified candidates ready to primary early. By the end of her first year at the latest. Sitting out midterms etc, isn't the answer. That is when all the racists vote in people that make congress a freaking hell hole.

Obama didn't run on black issues. Hillary is surrounding herself with mothers of murdered black men and giving speeches about black issues in Harlem, etc. See obviously has a grasp of issues that have been neglected far too long in our community, or at least someone she has hired does. She has laid out problems and solutions but has not committed to a plan. Since she is heavily courting the black vote, to let her make it to office and not actually act on any of the rhetoric would put us in the same position we have been in since the civil rights era, where promises are made yet forgotten as soon as the polls close. With the power of social media, and the momentum behind BLM and other organizations, this doesn't have to happen again. If she keeps her promises it's a win, if she doesn't AND it can be shown that NOT keeping her word to BLACK ppl is what lost her second term, it is also a win, as it may cause others fall in line and keep their word for fear of black backlash. It's almost mathematically impossible for Bernie to get the delegate count needed to win. He'd have to win over 900 of the 1052 delegates left, while Hillary only needs about 150. Bernie supporters have a lot of energy and anger. All I'm saying is it can be put to better use by holding Hillary accountable instead of just bitching about her. (Not you specifically, supporters in general.)

Because of this, candidates never really address our issues. They know that all they have to do is go to a church,play sax,dance etc and be a Democrat and we will vote for them.
