Israel Declares War After Hamas Attacks

Israel has killed the leaders of Hamas and Hezbollah in Gaza and Iran. They have crossed multiple “red lines” including invading Rafah and outright bombing countries that haven’t officially declared war. The response? Threats and YouTube videos of them killing handfuls of soldiers. Whatever happens to all of the drones and middles they have been threatening for months?

I’m say this, I’ve only been following this conflict for a few months…

Israel is masterful with drone and missiles strike but their best trait is hiding results that they suffer.

Biden just shipped the THAAD system over there… let that sink in

Early in the year Bibi and em’ said that patriot system wasn’t good enough.
After Iran’s two attacks they saw they didn’t have enough defense

“Hamas declares that it will not announce the name of the person of who will head the Political Bureau of Hamas due to operational security.”

“Egypt says it is ready to speak with Yahya Sinwar's successor regarding a return to the negotiation table with Israel”

Yeah after centuries of colonization. Ethiopia is the only African country never colonized

You said African nations don't fight back. I simply showed that wasn't true. It was not centuries. Late 19th century through 1960s is less than a full century, actually.

Hebrew media reports that 47 Israeli soldiers have been injured in the past 48 hours, with 38 on the Lebese front and 9 in Gaza.

The last casualty report from Israeli media, as of October 18, indicated 21 deaths and 368 injuries since the invasion of Lebanon began. Meanwhile, Hezbollah's estimates on the same day claimed over 500 injured Israeli soldiers and 55 deaths.

sniper ole dude

NEW: How did Yahya Sinwar die?

According to Israeli media, an IDF force spotted 5 Hamas fighters in Rafah while carrying out their 'duties'. Then, their tanks were ordered to open fire on these fighters.

All the fighters died, except one, who was Yahya Sinwar. So, the IDF fired a shoulder-launched explosive missile at the building with Sinwar, which also did not kill him.

After this, the IDF launched an FPV drone in Sinwar's direction, who stood up, gathered some stones and tried to hit the drone.

Then, eventually, after more than 15 minutes, it was an IDF sniper that shot Yahya Sinwar in the head while he was out of cover, engaging the drone. This explains the bullet wound seen in the images.

He fought until the very end.

Everybody who claims to care about Palestinians, it's time to get on social media and campaign for what's left of Hamas to lay down their arms, release the hostages and disband.

Hamas thought the hostages gave them leverage. Bibi never cared about the hostages. In fact, Hamas keeping them gave Bibi the green light to keep the war going as long as he wanted to. The hostages actually give Bibi leverage.

I kept telling you guys Bibi wasn't the one in need of a ceasefire. That meant that unless he got literally everything he wanted in that deal, he wasn't gonna accept it in the end.

Hamas and the hostages are a death warrant for the Palestinian people. Since Oct 7th, the Palestinian people have done nothing but lose. Loss of life, territory, homes, society, infrastructure...

It's time to put an end to this.

But Israel is doing what Israel has wanted to do anyway. Clear out Gaza. And Gantz has said they’re going to expand that to the West Bank.

The only thing the Palestinians can hope for is that the war wrecks Israel’s economy (it’s already taking a toll), that enough Israeli casualties turns enough of the moderate Israelis against Netanyahu, and that enough instability in the region galvanizes the U.S. and the Gulf countries to try to stabilize the situation.

Great post, The places that Israelis are having trouble living peacefully is in the north(along Lebanon, this area been a ghost town), southern(near the fighting in Gaza) the port city of Eilat is closed….

Hezbollah been actively attacking the Port of Haifa. This area have witness an uptick in arrivals from the Resistance.
As a whole, we likely won’t get the full assessment of the damage for a while,.
Israel is excellent suppression of info.

The only reason we know about the port of Eilat because the managers of the port expressed concerns about filing bankruptcy

“On 7 July 2024, the port's CEO told told the Knesset Economic Affairs Committee that there had been no activity at the port in the past eight months, and he was requesting financial assistance. Later the CEO said "It must be acknowledged that the port is in a state of bankruptcy".

Attacks on Red Sea shipping bankrupt Israeli port

2048px Eilat's Harbor

Eilat is situated on Israel’s southern coast on the Red Sea, linking the country to Asia and the Indian Ocean without the need to transit the Suez Canal, but its volumes had been in decline since a Q4 2022 spike saw the facility handle 124,000 tonnes, doubling its Q1 levels that year.

However, in a meeting with the Knesset’s Economic Affairs Committee on 7 July, CEO Gideon Golbert said there had been no activity at the port for eight months and no revenues coming in.

The port mainly handles bulk cargoes, potash and car imports as well as some containers is considerably smaller than the country’s Mediterranean ports of Ashdod and Haifa, but the effects of the Houthi attacks have clearly affected the Israeli trade.

On a broader scale the Houthi actions have diverted hundreds of container vessels every week on a much longer journey, some 4,000 miles longer, around the African cape to Europe, increasing the fuel costs, and emissions, with the first increment of the EU ETS introduced in January this year.

Conversely the Middle East conflict has given a significant boost to the secondhand container ship market, reports Alphaliner.

“Container sale and purchase deals surged again in the first half of 2024, as carriers and NOOs reacted to the red-hot charter and freight markets. After a slump in transactions in the second half of 2023, more than half a million teu of container tonnage changed hands in the first six months of 2024,” said the analyst.

Related:Red Sea diversions hit Greece container volumes

As vessel operators “sought every available ship” in order to effectively meet the demand for the services travelling around the Cape of Good Hope and to maintain weekly schedules.

According to Alphaliner 141 ships of 572,600 teu were traded between January and June, an average of 23 units per month, compared to 15 sales per month H2 2023.

Carriers initially believed that the disruption to Red Sea shipping would be short lived and did not respond immediately to the surge in rates in late 2023.

“Despite the influx of a massive 1.6 million teu in newbuilding capacity in the first half of 2024, carriers sought even more tonnage in the second-hand market in order to plug schedule holes and capitalise on firm rates.”

Alphaliner also reported that virtually every available ship is now deployed in gainful employments with the idle fleet falling to 0.4% in May, and, while the idle container fleet increased minimally over the last six weeks, the number of unemployed ships remains below 1% of the total fleet.

Moderate Israelis will support Bibi as long as Hamas has hostages and as long as Israeli refugees can't return to their homes in the North.

Bibi doesn't care about the hostages but Israeli people do. You want these people to be on the side of peace? Hamas needs to surrender.

The hostage thing is interesting

Some think there’s no hostages left, many places IDF thought hostages were located, been bombed or APPARENTLY discovered…

One of the Hamas officials said the hostages couldve been returned but Bibi didn’t want them. I think days later they sent a drone and killed him

Bibi doesn't want the hostages back.

Never did.

Hell if they're all dead it plays even more in his favor.

That's why I'm telling y'all, Hamas miscalculated completely.

It gave Bibi all the power and it gave them none.

If we want to count on moderate Israelis to have a role in ending the military operation in Gaza, Hamas needs to return all remaining hostages, however many left there may be.

Otherwise the moderates don't really exist.
