Spokesman of the Qassam Brigades, Abu Obeida:

- Our resistance has proven to the whole world that it made history and defeated the occupiers.

- Greetings to you, people of Gaza, who created a historical epic that will be recorded as a turning point in the history of our nation.

- In the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood, fronts were opened against the occupying entity and a naval blockade was imposed on it.

- The peoples of the world have reached the conviction that this occupation, with its very existence, is the greatest sin ever committed.

- We fought with our brothers in all resistance factions as one line with all firmness in all areas of the Gaza Strip.

- We have been fighting since the beginning of the battle in conditions that seem impossible in military calculations.

- We faced our enemy with faith and few weapons, while our criminal enemy had the support of the strongest military countries that provided it with everything.

- The greatness of this battle is evident in the progress of the leaders of the Al-Aqsa Flood for the convoys of martyrs, from the martyr Haniyeh to Saleh Al-Arouri and Yahya Al-Sinwar.

- All attempts to normalize with this entity will be met with a flood of awareness, deep-rooted resistance of free people.

- Reaching an agreement to stop the aggression and the war of extermination against our people has been our goal for many months.

- We declare our commitment to the ceasefire agreement.

- We extend our greetings and great thanks to those who participated with us in confronting injustice and tyranny.

- We salute the brothers in battle and comrades in arms of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon and behind them the free people of Lebanon.

- We salute all the free people of the world who demonstrated by the millions around the world, declaring their support for the model of resistance and steadfastness.

- O our people, we will rebuild together what the occupation has destroyed.

- Every drop of blood shed on this land was to liberate the land and the holy sites.

Yep ! But it will ultimately prove that from now on it’s downhill for them on any given field (military, economy …) I also expect violence from those settlers against the government cuz many of them ( border with Lebanon and Gaza) won’t be able to relocate

Edit :

So much for the prediction of the U.S. having a "stronger" proxy in Israel and "greater Israel" nonsense at the conclusion of the ceasefire.

The Spokesman of Hamas' Al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Obaidah, thanked only 4 countries in his speech:

'I extend my special thanks to the truthful brothers of Ansarallah in Yemen, who showed extreme courage and implemented the will of the Prophet. And to the blessed people of Yemen, who possess the strongest wisdom and faith, and who are like our people of Gaza in their greatness and pride.

We also salute our brothers of the battlefield, our comrades in arms, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, Hezbollah. And the freedom-loving Lebanese people, who supported the Palestinian cause, and who are united with our people in blood, its path, and its goals.

We thank our brothers in the Islamic Republic of Iran, for their everlasting and continuous support, and we thank them for their unprecedented involvement in this historic battle, during the 'True Promise' operations.

And lastly, we salute the heroic brothers of the steadfast Islamic Resistance in Iraq. The heroes of the drones.'

They still there and likely gonna have more influence over the youth.

Maybe once some get older they might look at Hamas as being the cause

A drone view shows displaced Palestinians walking past the rubble as they attempt to return to their homes, amid a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, in the northern Gaza Strip, Jan. 19, 2025.
