All of this has been evident to anyone who actually follows this but then again BGOL is more Arab than actual fucking Arabs. :smh::lol:

BGOL will try to apply reflexive contrarianism that sometimes works with domestic politics in the US to the geopolitical stage and it just doesn't fit.
I think folks just jump in without any context or American context and hope for the best but it’s a different monster entirely. The irony that all the context needed is in this thread if folks would read but that’s a tall ask it seems. I digress.

For example, there are people here arguing, inexplicably, that Hamas is somehow linked to the PLO and they are fighting the imperialist together: Fatah and Hamas/Islamic Jihad etc. hand in hand... :smh: They literally were just killing each other in a camp in Lebanon last month but this is BGOL so, of course, facts don't matter...

Clashes resumed in Lebanon’s largest Palestinian refugee camp overnight, with heavy gunfire and shelling wounding at least 20 people and prompting residents of the camp and the surrounding area to flee on Friday.

Earlier this summer, there were several days of street battles in the Ein el-Hilweh camp between Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah movement and Islamist groups after Fatah accused the Islamists of gunning down one of their military generals on July 30. Those street battles left at least 13 dead and dozens wounded, and forced hundreds to flee from their homes.

Just so we dont have to do this shit anymore in this thread, the Palestinian people support a number of different political orgs that range from Fatah (historically secular) to groups like Hamas and Islamic Jihad that are Islamists.
It’s easy to conflate them but it’s far more complex than an American two party system.

Here’s a good breakdown of Hamas vs Fatah vs PLO vs Hezbollah etc

Hate-filled, misogynist, and racist tweets have targeted a Sudanese TV anchor following a report on her show that criticized the Lebanese government, including Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.

The fury targeting Dalia Ahmad came after she described the country’s long-reigning party officials as crocodiles during her show “Fashet Khalq” on Lebanon’s Al-Jadeed news channel.

#DogBreedImprovement was trending in Lebanon in Arabic after vicious tweets sent out by Hezbollah loyalist accounts attacked Ahmad and the color of her skin.

“You’d be sitting under the safety of God when a black dog comes and starts barking, you want to hit it but then it appears not to be a dog but a black female dog from Sudan,”
read a tweet from a profile featuring a photo

Journalists loyal to Hezbollah and media representatives also chimed in. Journalist Hosein Mortada, who has more than 494,000 followers, tweeted a picture of Ahmad with the comment: “There are breeds that don’t improve because their genes are unclean from the start.”

Another tweet read: “Without #hizbollah Dalia Ahmed would have been offered for sale in the slave market, along with her ilk, by ISIS.”

“Never in my life have I bullied or criticized the creation of our Lord, but this despicable woman, because her heart and tongue are so black they are reflecting on her ugly and malicious face,” read a tweet from @KassemHala555, which had a black smiley face emoji at the end and two images of Ahmad.

This is what a lot of you are supporting out of ignorance... :smh:

:smh::smh: Shameful but apropos.

I want to know who gave them the weapons? cause as of a few years ago they were ducking, dodging and chucking rocks while the jews were snipping the shit outta them at the boarder for practice.

Now they've loanched an attack with little gliders, assualt rifles, knives killing up everything and they say it's terrorism but it looks more like revenge.I didn't realize that them Jews is surrounded and think their going to just be allowed to bomb them, other Muslims aren't going to allow that and the united states needs to stay out of it no matter what these Jews here think or say and it can turn into something else.

If you would like to gain some insight into the mentality of the Islamists and their supporters, this is from when a Sudanese reporter in Lebanon had the audacity to question Hezbollah's leadership (Hezbollah is aligned with both Hamas and Islamic Jihad and other islamists):

These unified protests is catching everybody off guard.

It might explain why Israel has not moved in ground forces. It’s been a week since the attack.

He is part of senior leadership of Hamas but, of course, lives in luxury in Qatar like most of them. Others are in Turkey. His money comes from the tax Hamas has put on goods smuggled into Gaza from Egypt.

It is not just the daily hardships of making a living in besieged Gaza that are hitting him hard, but the high taxes imposed by Islamist group Hamas, which controls the tiny coastal strip.

Hamas has recently further raised taxes after a drop in financial support from allies, such as Iran and the Muslim Brotherhood, and the collapse of its tunnel trade with people in Egypt.

"I used to import tens of food items from around the world, but in the last two years Hamas makes it almost impossible to make a profit because of the high taxes they imposed," says Mr Yazjji, who is based north of Gaza City.

Hamas has begun to raise new taxes in Gaza in an apparent effort to shore up their coffers – as the economy of the small, overcrowded strip of land descends into a vast and often unfathomable parallel market.

I don't think Israel gives a single fuck about those protests to be honest. This shit is about to be brutal and a lot of innocent citizens are going to be killed.

Protests ain’t there. And if the Arabs protested, they don’t matter either.

Why would the Native Americans consult with invaders? I have a better question: why were there only 1200 federal agents in the entire south during the reconstruction era? So they could feign ignorance. They got what they want, and they bounced.

When folks realize the “news” isn’t necessarily for them, they’ll understand what happened. Violence should beget violence and not protests. News stories are just an old way of conducting a survey. The death and destruction is only to reinforce the perception that they are everywhere and everything. The same thing happened on the plantation. Massa wasn’t even on the island. But when the oppressed talking about their fears, Massa becomes Thanos like. The articles are only to shake the cowards loose.

You're right...all civilian Palestinians are soldiers..nvm that's israel
Neither you, I, nor the Jackson clown knew who was in that convoy that was bombed.

If Israel wanted to wipe out people fleeing they would have started firing on all of them soon as they got on the road, not one person they can trot out for a photo opp.

True.

But It’s been a week since Hamas attack and no ground forces have moved in yet on Gaza for a offensive.

Hamas had planned this attack for over a year, they knew how Israel would respond.

Israel had no idea this attack was coming, and they obviously have no idea what Hamas is up to now. It’s possible if they move into Gaza, they could be walking into a ambush.

Remember, Putin was supposed to take Ukraine in less than a week.

Respond to the video first. Let's hear your conservative thoughts
He didn't say anything we didn't already know. At least that I didn't already know. It's the exact same conversations that were being had after the last conflict/attack. Nothing's changed since then. Why? Because each faction's backing have not changed. The U.S. backs Israel and Palestinians have no backing. No Jews are not about to cede power "just because".

Now answer my question. Tell me your intimate experience with Palestinians.

They've been bombing them to soften them up and bringing more and more equipment and vehicles to the area. The difference between Ukraine and this is:

They're going in willing for it to be a long. brutal slog
The Israeli people are behind this

They know it's an ambush. They also know Hamas doesn't have the rest of the free world supplying them. They've cut off all water and power, all supplies from entering and will now constrict the shit out of them.
