Why is Israel so worried about Hezbollah?
I’ve seen a report from a Gaza radio guy,

He pretty much said Gaza people just hope that their neighbors from Lebanon would act, which is why Israel is so hesitant to attack
Cause Hezbollah would give Israel that work like they did in the past. They are better armed, better equipped and have more soldiers to give it to Israel at any given moment.

The issue is that Hezbollah is backed by Iran and Israel is backed by the U.S., so you can see how quick it would escalate if something were to pop off

So head to head Israel vs Lebanon it would be bad for Israel?

Seem like Hamas caused many restless nights and they really ain’t heavy armed.

Fascinating question about if folks know Palestinians. I do. Palestinian Americans who can't return home, as well as Palestinians who live in 48, East Jerusalem, and The West Bank. Muslim Palestinians, Christian Palestinians, Druze Palestinians. I've chilled in the African Quarter of Jerusalem, drank tea in the only (I think) Black owned tea shop in the Old City, Bassem's, and chopped it up with Afro Palestinians in Jericho. I've been from the top of Palestine (Acca) to the south (Hebron) and hella places in between including Jaffa, Haifa, Ramallah, and the off the grid bedouin village of Khan Al Ahmar. Here's my thread discussing my time there (apologies for the missing pics, gotta re-upload):

Have you been to The West Bank? If so, where about?
Never been to Israel.

So what do you make of Black Palestinians and overall black Africans whether they be Muslims or Jews, who arent treated the same over there?

I’m say this, my thoughts on Iran is completely different since the Ukraine/Ukraine aka Donbas/Russia conflict.

Over the years of hearing how we sanctioned Iran, how they treated their women, just everything about them kinda left me with the idea that they were some low level trouble makers in the Middle East. Maybe a step above Iraq. I’ve read many there dreamed of a map, that had Israel wiped completely off. So not really know history so the Middle East, coming up when some messed with Israel it was like they doing something wrong. I just didn’t know enough history of the world then(hell I don’t now)

Fast forward to now, not saying they ain’t any of that but apparently some of their technology is top tier. I read they’re kinda a self reliant nation when it come to their technology.

I might be wrong idk but they don’t seem like them sheep herders in Pakistan and Afghanistan

Pretty much. Israel are scared of Hezbollah to begin with because of 2006 when they fought. Hezbollah are also more recently battle tested cause of the recent war with Syria. Hezbollah contain better rockets, plus tech that’s designed to sniff out Israeli rockets.

I can’t say who’d win or who’d lose but Hezbollah would certainly ravage Israel leaving long term damage in its wake. Netanyahu knows this which is why these ground forces haven’t moved yet in the north.

I think there's anti-Blackness everywhere and that is fucked up. Afro-Palestinians I've personally talked to complain more about the Zionists treatment being a double minority. We specifically asked these Afro-Palestinian brothas in Jericho (at the base of the Mount of Temptation) about the racism they experience. They did speak about marriage and how that can be tricky with Arab Palestinians, but said it was nothing compared to what they face from the IDF. Granted, small poll, but it's what we heard in Jerusalem, and Hebron too. But if brothas would say they've daced more egregious forms I'd believe them. Have you have videos or articles about that? Would love to watch them.

I didn't really talk to the Black Jews there because I spent very little time in Tel Aviv (just the airport) and didn't get a chance to pull up in their hoods, but I know Marc Lamont Hill did and it's in his (unreleased) documentary, "Black In The Holy Land." I also know they've started a Black Lives Matter movement to combat police brutality.

I will say this though, there didn't seem to be much kinship between us and the Israeli Ethiopians. Everywhere I've gone on the planet whenever I see another Black person there's always that friendly nod we do. That was NOT that case with them, but was the case with Afro-Palestinians who'd stop us in our tracks to speak and invite us places. Perhaps I was just overly sensitive the Ethiopian brothas and sistas.

Man up until this weak i didn’t know Israel feared anyone other than Iran…

I didn’t know much of nothing about Lebanon.

This is some interesting shit…. So this why the US sent those carriers to that area, to scare Hezbollah and Iran. Along with showing support for Bibi and his goons….even tho we don’t want them to start the ground assault because it would be world war 3 in a sense?

Correct me if I’m not looking at this conflict thru the right lens!!!!

Definitely not low level or sheep herders. They have a top 5 military in ranking the armies of the Middle East, with the most personnel of any army in the region, totaling near 1 million.

Nobody also knows if they have nuclear power, which make them all the more dangerous.

Israel know what’s up. So do the US, that’s why sleepy Joe is hollering, “don’t, don’t, don’t..”

It’s alot to sift through for sure and there’s multiple players of multiple levels of this, so it can get muddled and lines will intersect like crazy, but you got it.

Israel only bark loudly because their daddy is the US. That’s the only reason.

Remove us from the equation and knuckle up 1v1 and it’d be an exodus from Israel all over again. They move like cowards with a shield around them (the United States) that no one can touch.

US only moved into position in the Gulf to let em know, “we’re right here. Don’t try it..”

And if they Hezbollah and Iran say “fuck em, let’s get it anyway…”, I can’t see it not being WW3.

Folks can correct me anywhere I’m wrong but that’s the general consensus.

Also stated earlier, lower and upper Egypt are two different monsters entirely.

I met this FINE ass woman at the Library of Alexandria, who was born is Aswan, raised in Qena but lived in Alexandria and she mentioned the backlash she received from the Cairo populous and all points north during her time there. She said she felt comfortable speaking about with foreigners because we were empathetic and understanding but to raise the issue and awareness in lower Egypt was an absolute no no and could have consequences.

In lower Egypt, you’ll learn about the Arabs more than anything else, as they are the dominant population but travel down to upper Egypt, and it’s a different story entirely. You’ll encounter Black people who are proud af to be black, as far as the eye can see.

There’s an undeniable feeling when a black Egyptian in Egypt says, “welcome home brother.”

I have a Coptic ex from Cairo and two exes from Khartoum so the reality in Egypt/Sudan has been front and center for me for a while. That is the main reason the Egypt and other Arab apologist are so baffling to me. I am currently in a country with a heavy population from the Maghreb but also Gulf so much of the talk on here has also been hilarious with that context in mind. :lol:I think I told you in a football thread that I was in a MENA country for the WC and all of the racial wildness that ensued is wild especially now as a lot of Us are defending people who will not only never claim to be Us but also had some very strong words for Us during the tournament . :smh::lol:

A two state solution from what tho? Does that mean all settlers leave the West Bank immediately? Can't have two states with illegals settlements and settlers peppered throughout the land.
I agree. I really don't have the perfect solution in regards to the borders. Who gets to keep what...

However I do believe the reality of the situation is that Israel is not going anywhere. The US won't allow it. And we still got the biggest guns. So what's the best way to make sure the Palestinian people get their land that can live with in peace?

I don't believe peace will be possible without the 2 state solution. I just don't see it.

Hamas tried to kill Arafat for thinking this too but somehow some on here believe they are sane/good faith actors. :smh: Shit is insane but the rugby calls so get ready to engage with with idiots on here defending islamists when literally the Arabs themselves won't.
