Lebanon’s Hezbollah militia and its fighters remain defiant, even expressing confidence, despite escalating Israeli attacks on its top commanders and missile arsenal that culminated Friday with the assassination of the group’s leader, Hassan Nasrallah.
Hezbollah officers say in interviews that they have restored 70% to 80% of their communications network after temporarily losing contact with field officers in charge of firing missiles.
They also say the most powerful precision-guided, longer-range elements of Hezbollah’s missile arsenal remain intact. And Hezbollah will soon be ready to fight back “full throttle” with bombardments and can now, in any event, repel any Israeli ground invasion, the officers say.
“Our war hasn’t started yet, but it’s [about] to start, and we are going to show the world what we are capable of doing,” says a Hezbollah missile specialist, who gives the pseudonym Hassan.
“All red lines are gone” after the assassination of Mr. Nasrallah, he says. “We are going to fight this war without any rules.”
“We have a long way to go; we have a long war to fight,” says Hassan, a Hezbollah veteran of 23 years, when asked why the militia is still using mostly older rockets instead of the most powerful and precise weapons believed to be in its estimated prewar arsenal.
“We cannot show them everything the first day. We cannot drop it on them the first day. But you’ll see. ... We know exactly what we are doing,” he says.

Yep, Iran told them that if they keep it up the killings and attack Lebanon, next attack won’t have a warning… Well now it’s time for Iran to wait for Israel to attack or kill another high level person.
“Iran's attack in April was a message and a show of force. The attack was extensively telegraphed for over 2 weeks, and Iran gave advance warning to the US in order to avoid an all-out war.
This time, Iran did not inform anyone. US intelligence only detected the attack about 2 hours before it happened. There were also no NOTAMs issued in Iranian airspace, which usually signals an imminent attack. Iran also decided to carry out the attack with ballistic missiles only, which arrive in Israel within ~15 minutes, giving Israel virtually no time to respond. My thoughts as well. Its just strange that they would release a statement lying about their intentions and success. Isreal is actually making real attacks while Hezbollah and Iran keep threatening. These middle eastern factions have operated on terror/fear for so long that they have a hard time departing from it come wartime. Isreal killed the Hamas leader and 3 Hezbollah leaders on their soil, bombed Lebanon and Iran, killed dozens via electronics on their soil, and crossed multiple "red lines". How many times have they threatened drastic action was imminent? I get that they might be attacking economically or working on nuclear capability, but if you aren't going to do anything, why say you are?

For as others attacking Israel, you really have to be honest with yourself, “This really what we want” because it’s a chance American missiles will come visiting.
