Kajieme Powell: Another Black Man Killed By Cops in St Louis, MO
St. Louis police shot a mentally disturbed, 25-year-old Kajieme Powell yesterday. St. Louis Police Chief Sam Dotson clearly stated Powell was a "clear and present danger to the officers". Well, the footage of the incident doesn't seem very horrifying except for the part where two officers with guns draw empty said guns on a man armed with a pocket knife.
St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported, "pulled out a knife and came at the officers, gripping and holding it high, Dotson said." The Huffington Post reported Dotson as saying the knife was in an "overhand grip."
The problem is 1: I see no overhand grip. 2: I barely can see the knife it's so small. 3: Powell is clearly delusional. and 4: Cops abandon any use of non-lethal measures.
These officers are killing with no remorse!
