LeBron James: "Michael Jordan gets too much credit for the Bulls titles"

“I don’t think MJ ever had a Game 7 in the Finals. And people say ‘Oh, well he was able to close it out early’ and they act like he just did it all on his own. They forget about the shot by Paxson on the left wing.

You want to know the crazy thing? In that particular game in Phoenix, MJ didn’t even have the ball in his hands. Pippen brought the ball up, Barkley went for the steal, Pippen threw it down to Horace Grant and that got the defense (out of place) because Barkley went for the gamble. They rotated to Horace Grant, and Horace Grant threw it to Paxson. MJ didn’t have nothing to do with that play.”

...and he gets too much credit for winning multiple titles with multiple All-Stars, and former no. 1 options.

He doesnt get enough credit. He's the first superstar described as "ONLY having 3 rings" and people go out of their way to NOT talk about him winning this year, but still reference his losses from 5 years ago.

LeBron is an MJ stan saying this, his MJ stan brethren shouldnt take it personal, but they will.

Yep... What about Ray Allen, Kyrie stepping up, making sure he surrounded with All Star contributors.... Dont even have time to engage this shit! Theu dont beat SA if Ray didnt hit the 3, dont beat GS if Kyrie didnt have a helluva series. Shit is funny though, Let LeBron stans and his main cum swallower OP tell it, LeBron won all his shit on his own. Last post for me in this bait thread tho.... One thing for sure, Air never single handily costs his team a finals by playing 3 quarters a game avg 17ppg for the series and getting owned by.....

Jason Terry and JJ Berea either!!!

Nigga still sucking off LeBrons dick even while LeBron is on vacation! Wow!!! :roflmao::roflmao2::roflmao3:

Please tell me a time mike did some hoe shit like that

Tell me a time MJ came back from being down 3-1 in a series. Nothing MJ has ever done in a series tops that. He didnt have that kind of killer instinct. If he got down in a series, he lost, PERIOD.

6 pages....

I blame Steph and company. They fucked up. MJ and Kobe fans were depending on them from keeping LeBron from winning and they failed. Whenever LeBron wins, Jordan's legacy takes a hit and his brand is less cool. If you go to any Kobe or Jordan related post on the internet LeBron will be referenced in the comments below. Those 2 have no identity without LeBron at this point. Their fans bring up Bron even when he aint even mentioned.

91-92 Bulls went 7 games against the Knicks. They were down 1-3, and came back.

Man,

I really like Le Bron! I love his game except for not working on the turn around jumper from the free throw extended. that added to his arsenal would be a deadly weapon.

What he said about the play unfolding is correct.

But if Le Bron is saying other than the greatness and deadly threat of Mike doing something spectacular in the moment....HELPED!!!...set-up the play and the wide open shot for Paxson...

LeBron must be on that shit!

Mike in his prime was a beast that nobody could fuck with!

The only player I would draft ahead of Mike are Wilt and then Kareem! If they were all available in the same draft.

Ray's 3 TIED the game and sent it to OT. LeBron's headband flew off in the 4th and he scored 14 points that quarter to bring them back. He also led them in scoring in OT. Game 7 he dropped 37 points (the most in a Game 7 of a Finals) and hit the go ahead jumpshot over Kawhi in the last minute of the game to win the series. Ray Allen and Bosh had 0 points in that game 7 by the way. Bad example.

Umm......

Clutch shot by Kyrie, but LeBron's block and game sealing free throw were just as important. Triple double in Game 7 of the Finals is incredible, only a handful of legends have done it.

It went 7 games but the Bulls werent down 3-1. They won Game 2,3, and 5

MJ has never come back from being down 3-1 in any series.

You're right. I was thinking 92-93 season when they were down 0-2. They came back and won 4 straight. Either way they were down 2 games.

Right, because Jordan NEVER let his team get in a POSITION to be down 3-1...........

He did in '88 vs the Pistons. He was down 2-0 to the Celtics in 86 and 87. Down 2-1 to the Bucks his rookie year. Down 3-2 to the Magic in 95. In 89 he was up 2-1 on the Pistons then lost 3 straight. MJ wasnt good at comebacks. His 93 series vs. the Knicks and 1st round series against Cavs in 88 when he hit the shot are the only 2 that come to mind. If you got MJ down he was done

Bad example my ass; if LBJ wants to talk about Jordan not having the pill; Bosh and Ray Allen bailed his ass out after he missed the 3 to try and tie it (to his credit he'd hit his previous 3 on the prior possession). In GS, to his point about MJ not having the ball in Phoenix, he didn't have it in GS. MJ had 33, 8 and 7 as a 2; LBJ's triple double was a feat yet not an apples to apples comparison with MJs game 6 because of different positions and roles. Bottom line is buddy is WAY off base with his comment.

Saying Ray Allen and Bosh bailed Bron out is like saying Kerr Paxson and Pippen bailed MJ out. There wasnt anything wrong with what Bron said. MJ didnt touch the ball that last play in Phoenix. And MJs fans pretend he won chips by himself to make him seem more comparable to LeBron.

Lots of gay references in that first post.

Tell me a time when MJ had to leave HIS team to go team up with other superstars to win.
tell me a time when MJ let the opposing guard win a finals mvp.
tell me a time when MJ lost in the finals.
tell me a time when MJ let a team go up on him 3 to 1 in the finals.
tell me a time when MJ was outscored by a bench player in the finals.
tell me a time when MJ had to go 7 games to win a ring
tell me a time when MJ lost in the finals after having home court advantage throughout.
i'll wait

Michael Jordan was far and away the no. 1 option for those Bulls. Is Lebron saying that Jordan get too much credit because his teammates actually had to earn their pay by contributing???

FOH, nigga.

I don't respect nobody who GOT to play with multiple no. 1 options. That's why he can't be in my top 5, let alone the damn GOAT. He top 10, tho'.

LeBron is saying if you can be replaced by a CBA player like Pete Myers and your team still wins 55 games and goes to the 2nd round, you prolly didnt win your titles with them by yourself. I dont think theres anybody in the NBDL Cleveland could call up to replace Bron and still win the East. :roflmao:
