Something similar happened when a lottery systems programmer was rigging the numbers so that his family and friends could win.......

He waited until the last 30 days before finally getting someone else to try to claim the ticket

He rigged it so that his brother won millions about 10 yrs earlier and then various friends won smaller prizes in the meantime....

Why don't they look at the camera's and see who purchased the ticket cause they have the day and time on it.

I play the take5,the same numbers for years and I just won 40 bucks but that's normal,I win that and sometimes more a month so it's paying for itself.

Hehe I posted this in another thread a few weeks ago… they ”testing” to see how much the consumer is willing to pay.. from what I heard I believe they still will have a $3 tix but the $5 tix will have more options to win.. of course you test the waters to see if the consumer is willing to pay the high price, but if they don’t magically the tix price will drop.. that is the game

They don’t want to give the money to the person.. so let them not claim it and the money I think goes back to lotto.. they just counting down the months hoping nobody come to collect

$3 a stretch knowing that I'm not gonna win and $5 is just a straight no. :smh:

Yeah greed went into play with that, but it’s their test to see if consumers fall in line, if they don’t it will probably drop to $3 where people will be happier but lotto still wins off the millions that will spend 50 percent more than the previous yr

And gamblers not online not Atlantic city but people who would answer a poll that they NEVER gamble but play their numbers and scratch off every week for DECADES without fail.

I think the APPEARANCE of more options to win? Will be enough.

They might even release both like you said and them suddenly cut of the $3 to see what happens

Or have BOTH available.

But personally I think the $5 will work and might even find a NEW audience

I already wait until the lottery is at least $200 million before I play, and I play one play per 200 million. Now it's going to be one play per 400 million. They ain't getting no more of my money.

This is why I leave every lottery ticket inside the arm rest of my car. They're not in my pocket or my wallet. Every few weeks I go into my armrest and scan my tickets. I cash in my winners and throw out the losers.

Whoever finds that billion dollar ticket after it's too late to claim is going to be pissed

Naw, they will aggressively try and find the the person. Often times, they will look at the cameras of where the money was taken and try to identify the person.

They truly try to get them their money. So they have to be the dumbest and most irresponsible person to lose the prize

That's how a multi state decades long lottery fraud case was busted...... had video/audio of dude buying the ticket.

Sucka tried to have someone else claim it. The lottery knew it wasn't him. Then with 30 days left to claim they made the audio and video public and numerous people identified the buyer as a high level lottery employee ......dumb ass
