A recently retired Marshawn Lynch just announced he’s about to go beast mode in the Motherland.
According to the official Seahawks website, Lynch is part of a 10-athlete contingent expected to head to Cairo, Egypt over the next week for the fourth annual American Football Without Barriers (AFWB) camp.
Founded by Giacomini and Barnidge back in 2011, AFWB aims to globalize American football and reach underprivileged youth at the same time.
Cleveland Browns tight end Gary Barnidge, Pittsburgh Steelers running back DeAngelo Williams, Miami Dolphins tight end Jordan Cameron, and several other NFL players will also join Lynch in Egypt.
“With the camp, I do this back at home myself, in Oakland, California, and when I got the word they were doing something here, it gave me a chance to spread my wings,” Lynch said.
