Another offseason, another one-year contract extension for Marvin Lewis.

NFL Media's Michael Silver reported Friday that the Bengals coach, whose contract was set to expire at the end of next season, now has a deal guaranteed through 2017, per a team source.

The contract will replace Lewis' existing deal, keeping the NFL's second-longest tenured coach in place with the franchise he joined back in 2003.

Around the NFL will have more on Lewis' new contract soon.

Great. That's what's up. The Bengals are a competitive team residing in Ohio. That's what people need to realize.

I wish they would cut ties with that guy this team has too much talent to continue to be so bad. At the very least make him the GM hire a coach that can at least beat the steelers.

Fuck are you talking about? They win an average of 11 games last 5 seasons. Bulk of the talent was drafted in the last 4. Hes the best thing to ever happen to that joke of an organization. Before him they hadnt won in double digits since the fucking 80s. And they happen to be in a division with two of the nest run franchises in the league.... and he remains grossly underpaid as a NFL head coach. Foh.

you right but hes not a winner hes great at drafting terrible at coaching a teal who wins 11 games a year should be able to win a play off game. Theres only one other coach whos been with the same team as long and he's been to 5 superbowls while marvin aint won a play off game. So what the fuck are you talking about. Stick with the "we winning games" team or find a real winner. Id rather be 3-13 than 11-5 and never winning a playoff game never able to beat your rivals.
