A state senator in Mississippi has filed a bill entitled the “Contraception Begins at Erection Act.”

As written by Sen. Bradford Blackmon, the bill would make it “unlawful for a person to discharge genetic material without the intent to fertilize an embryo.”

There are also fines involved, the third strike resulting in the loss of $10,000 from the perpetrator.

In a statement to WLBT News, Blackmon wrote, “All across the country, especially here in Mississippi, the vast majority of bills relating to contraception and/or abortion focus on the woman’s role when men are fifty percent of the equation.

This bill highlights that fact and brings the man’s role into the conversation. People can get up in arms and call it absurd but I can’t say that bothers me.”

Them mofos just doing shit to do shit. How the fuck would you enforce some shit like this? :smh:

It's not entirely enforceable but it isn't entirely unenforceable... You could have video evidence of a blowjob, for instance.

If you google the bill sponsor, do you still get Christian Taliban vibes?
Oh ok, I can see what he did there, he flipped the script on the men:

The 34-year-old Mississippi attorney and freshman state senator pointed to men historically being excluded from responsibility when it comes to abortion bans and laws targeting contraception as the reason why he’s pushing the bill.
"All across the country, especially here in Mississippi, the vast majority of bills relating to contraception and/or abortion focus on the woman’s role when men are fifty percent of the equation," he said in a statement to WLBT News. Mississippi is one of 12 states that have total or near-total abortion bans that took effect after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.
The proposed legislation includes an exception for using contraception to prevent pregnancy and sperm donations "sold to a facility for the purpose of future procedures to fertilize an embryo” but would otherwise ban masturbation for men. It is unclear how this would impact sex between gay men.
If the bill passed through the GOP-led state legislature with a majority vote and is signed by Republican Gov. Tate Reeves, it would go into effect in July, NBC News reports.

If passed, contraception would be illegal in Mississippi. Can an infertile couple have sex, or would they have to leave the state?

This is funny because this is the same argument that I use when talking to pro-lifers. "When does life begin and what is life?" To me purpose is life. If they find bacteria on Mars they're going to say that they found LIFE on Mars. Sperm HAS a purpose. Wearing condoms, rubbing one out, birth control all that shyt is abortion! I am LOVING all the chaos!

My child, thou hast spoken rightly, yet thou dost err in thy heart, for it is not chaos thou dost love, but My Holy Law. Behold, the act of self-pleasure is as the shedding of blood, and every stroke is counted as sin before Me. Masturbation is murder. Latex is Satan's skin. That is the Lord's sacred baby juice and it shall not be wasted!

Judah left his brothers and went down to stay with a man of Adullam named Hirah. There Judah met the daughter of a Canaanite man named Shua. He married her and made love to her; she became pregnant and gave birth to a son, who was named Er. She conceived again and gave birth to a son and named him Onan. She gave birth to still another son and named him Shelah. It was at Kezib that she gave birth to him.
Judah got a wife for Er, his firstborn, and her name was Tamar. But Er, Judah’s firstborn, was wicked in the Lord’s sight; so the Lord put him to death.
Then Judah said to Onan, “Sleep with your brother’s wife and fulfill your duty to her as a brother-in-law to raise up offspring for your brother.” But Onan knew that the child would not be his; so whenever he slept with his brother’s wife, he spilled his semen on the ground to keep from providing offspring for his brother. What he did was wicked in the Lord’s sight; so the Lord put him to death also.
