Guilia is great in the ring but she's as interesting as watching paint dry. She's not very animated or charismatic and the language gap is somehow more glaring than it is with io/asuka.
So Mina is teaming with Toni this weekend to take on Mayu and AZM. Mariah isn't gonna like this at all.

They did a fantastic job of depicting her in the "Queen Of Villains" series. She didn't get a better run in the states because Vince didn't really give a damn about women's wrestling. He treated them like side show acts.
They should just have the Japanese girls speak their native language in vignettes with subtitle translations.

Yeah....I'm excited to see her in ring work be in the spotlight but that awkward ass promo and the delivery of it just showed exactly why Giulia and Vaquer both need to spend time in NXT instead of going straight to the main roster.
I actually felt bad for Roxanne who has the in ring skill AND promo skills.
If WWE paired Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer up with a manager who can speak for them each, then I can see a main roster run, but if they want to allow the two to use their own voices in promos, they're going to need a LOT of work.
Crazy thing is, I thought Giulia's English was better. Doesn't she speak Italian too? Probably would have been better to let her speak Italian if she can because her "Engrish" was lacking lolz

Agree completely, it worked really well when they did it with Shinsuke, it adds a layer of mystery and let's them get across their personality. It's just so awkward the way they're doing It with guilia. Also I was waiting for funaki to give us an iiiiindeeeeeeed and it never came. Lol
He comes off like a damn anime villain, this was great stuff. They've completely dropped the ball with Shinsuke.
Yep, those are the exact vignettes I was thinking about with Shinsuke.
His character came off so much better with the subtitles than him trying to speak English.
Watched the first episode of Netflix's "Mr. McMahon" this morning. Decent first episode, but run of the mill so far. A lot of rehashed stuff that we already knew about, only difference is seeing Vince talk about these things himself since we rarely saw this prior.

I agree, she typically comes off as a dummy but in this case, I think she was referring to how AEW is about to beat WCW in terms of years Nitro and Thunder were on air.
Bischoff next podcast episode to counter this will be about AEW not coming close to ever getting the ratings Nitro got much less beating WWF in the ratings for 80 plus weeks.

I took the day off from work to take care of stuff at home and had the Vince McMahon documentary playing in the background on my ipad....finished it now.
It really wasn't as bad as they (McMahon and WWE) made it seem.
I have a feeling they mentioned that crap about it being a hatchet job on Vince/burial so that when folks see it and don't see it as bad, it would make folks think differently of McMahon.
If they go in thinking it's a burial and don't see it as bad, peoples are going to come away from watching this thinking "if that was a burial, maybe Vince isn't as bad as I thought"....
If you're a wrestling fan there really is no new territory here outside of the last 25 minutes where the Vince Sex scandal stuff comes into play.

Even if she is, she's still wrong, Nitro ran from 95-01, they're not there yet, so who's mad?
Actually, once AEW announces their next TV deal (if ever at this point), they will have surpassed WCW. Technically they won't pass WCW until two more years, but once the deal is signed, they basically will have outlived Nitro.
Dynamite premiered in 2019, so they only need another 2 years to pass WCW. TV deals are typically for 4-5 years.
Once that new deal is announced, Dynamite will surpass them. As shitty as their shows have been they are not getting canceled.
It may not be that long, WCW ran for 288 episodes, and AEW is right around 260, but still, she said "they" are mad about that. I'm asking who? Who would be mad about that?
