Listening to Cornette, they called Moxley's crew Dick the Boozer and The Bore Horsemen
The crowd barking in between lines as Oba Femi speaks is kind of cool....but it might get old like Stone Cold's "what chant"....
Didn't he do this before with Booker like 5 years ago? The minute nobody is paying attention to him he feels the need to go on Social Media to make himself relevant. It's a work. I bet he makes an appearance at the Royal Rumble.
Never cared for him. Honestly, think he's trash, especially when he tries to be a heel announcer like Jesse/Bobby the Brain. He tries too hard and it comes off lame. It was telling when Jesse The Body showed up at Saturday Night's Main Event a few weeks ago and picked up where he left off 30 years ago.
Loving the white on white crime!
Much like with Stone cold, I think it works fine when he's talking. The problem with "What?" was the crowds bit into it too hard, an d then it was every single line of every single promo. The crowd barking in between lines as Oba Femi speaks is kind of cool....but it might get old like Stone Cold's "what chant"....
Yep! I wish both Ava and Eddie never showed up on my screen. Too bad they both don't cancel each other out. They're both horrible.Much like with Stone cold, I think it works fine when he's talking. It's sorta like the massive booing thing. Works in small doses, and definitely worked as a one or two time thing to vilify New Day. But when you're genuinely expressing disgust, then all you are doing is dragging out the segment of someone you don't like.
But back to topic, I actually liked Oba's first post-win appearance. He seemed like he really had it together, and I bought the heat between him and the Don. But they are going to make me sit through a program with Eddy Thorpe, and I'm not sure that I'll ever forgive them for that.
And I hate to beat this dead horse, but if someone doesn't give Ava an acting lesson or a note on having an actual character, at least have the decency to not spam her throughout the episode. She should not be doing more on camera work. I swear, the manager's office is the worst part of NXT right now.
Why are they not playing up the nepo-baby angle?!?!? The Rock is on the board of directors for the company that runs WWE, UFC and...(ugh) Power Slap. Instead they have this person younger than most wrestlers and the announcers running the NXT brand. Her segments are worst than women's wrestling, because I sit and watch women's wrestling. I can't watch Ava at all! Pulling teeth is a more enjoyable experience, but I guess bad acting runs in the family.Much like with Stone cold, I think it works fine when he's talking. ...I ain't complaining, but did you mean to quote that from another thread to bring it over here?!?!?!didnt finish raw but was he the only black talent to appear on the show last night?
They were specifically talking about chair shots to the head. Those have been taken out of WWE.I had just finished watching the mcmahon documentary and they said that they had taken out the chair shots when they became public...then i turn on the street fight last night.....

If they wanted to make a statement and change from the shitty course they've been on, they should have. But no, nobody thought Hobbs was winning, which is why he should have. But Captain Coke doesn't think on levels, he just does shit.I just tuned into AEW after the Knicks beat Philly in OT... Cool arena setup, but WTF. HOBBS VS Moxley for the AEW Championship? In Cincinnati? Does anyone really think Hobbs has a chance here?
Also, can Pac put on some clothes. Claudio is always in jeans and a T-shirt, Mox wears the dumb shit he wears and even that Shafer chick wears street gear. Meanwhile Pac is always in his wrestling trunks, shirtless and boots. It's so weird. Put on a damned shirt. Did he enter the arena from the cold ass Cincinnati weather in his wrestling gear?
GTFOHWTBS don't tell me this is why she wasn't on this week.....
The thing is it's a really easy fix. Just go to one of the two extremes. Why are they not playing up the nepo-baby angle?!?!? Without deep diving the politics or anything, the consensus argument is that the entire issue with trans athletes is overinflated. Congress could and should absolutely be tackling issues that are more relevant or that affect more people, but by devoting effort to low impact issues like this, they appease transphobes. It's transphobic to state the obvious? Lmao wow
That is 100% true, it's ultimately an issue that's as useless to the average American as renaming the Gulf of Mexico or whatever dumb shit trump is up to lately lolWithout deep diving the politics or anything, the consensus argument is that the entire issue with trans athletes is overinflated.
