Film Review: Transformers One - SLUG Magazine
Transformers One, the first fully animated feature since 1986, is a long overdue course correction for the flailing franchise.

@playahaitian I don't remember if I told you I finally saw this and it was great !
I've been telling people but most of the people in my radius don't go to the movies unfortunatelyBro... the audience needs to go see this. No excuses. Don't blame the studios. Word of mouth critics was all overwhelming positive.
Just watched this.. i.was impressed and entertained.
Went to go see this the other day.
Loved it!
I get why the purists might have some issues with it, but even with that, it was great.
I kinda disliked how suddenly a certain bot turned out & the deux ex machina they used for a certain bot but those are small quibbles. My biggest beef, believe it or not, is...
...how so many classic bots show up but have NO connection to any of the main characters.
I would love to see a sequel, as everything else clicked into place. Even the animation, while kiddie-ish, worked well in action.
Too your spoiler... yes way too quick. It was like a light switch. Should have taken more time to develop into his well known frame of mindI liked it but I wish they made some changes
So after receiving the core form the primes they all turned into wheeled vehicles on a planet where flying is a necessity.
Also how quickly Megatron went from "I will no longer let anyone control my life" to "I will now I will be the dictator in charge" after the bad guy was already killed. The switch was too quick and needed more character development for why he believes ruling with a iron fist was best for cybertron or best for himself.
i did too because the trailer made it seem like toy story version of transformers lol. It's sad that people just ignored this
