Deadline reports that Danielle Nicolet, who plays Central City DA Cecile Horton in The Flash, has been promoted to series regular for the fifth season. She previously had a recurring role in the past two seasons after being introduced in a two-part episode in season one. She has appeared in twenty episodes of the show so far.
The Flash is executive produced by Greg Berlanti, showrunner Todd Helbing and Sarah Schechter. It’s produced by Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television.
