Sara Stokes and her husband, Emanuiel "Tony" Stokes, are splitting up for good, TMZ reports. Tony filed divorce papers two days after Sara was arrested for domestic violence, citing that "the object of matrimony have been destroyed."
The estranged couple have been married for 18 years.
Sara of Da Band (Diddy's now defunct group that appeared on MTV's Making the Band) was arrested for stabbing Tony back in 2009. She was given three years probation.
After the attack her lawyer explained to TMZ, "Sarah and Tony have a very passionate and loving relationship that on August 2 (2009), while having an evening of fun, she slipped and fell, hitting her head heavily on the ground and somehow in the process of helping her Tony got injured."
This past July police found Sarah and Tony back at it, this time fighting outside on the ground. Sara was reportedly drunk at the time, and arrested for domestic violence.
The bust resulted in a probation violation for the singer, and a 93-day jail sentence.
