The NBA 2K19 20th Anniversary Edition, for which LeBron James is the cover star, has been revealed in full. The special edition is currently set at a price point of $99.99, and contains the following:

Pre-ordering the NBA 2K19 20th Anniversary Edition will give you access to play on September 7th, four days before the release of the standard edition.

NBA 2K19 20th Anniversary Edition includes the following digital items:

• 100,000 Virtual Currency
• 50,000 MyTEAM points
• 20 MyTEAM League Packs (delivered one a week)
  • Once a week you will receive a League pack when you log in to the MyTEAM mode in NBA 2K19. You'll only receive one pack at a time, and these packs won't accrue over time. That means if you don't log in one week and then do so the following week, there will only be one pack waiting for you to redeem. But don’t worry, you won’t lose any packs for failing to log in on time. You'll continue receiving your free packs (max of 1 pack per week) until you've redeemed all 20.
• 10 MyTEAM Heat Check Packs

Yeah the general consensus was that 2K18 ovrall was not very good. Between the microtranactions, blow by animation on offense, poor My career story and can't skip cut scenes, poor creativity and in My team mode 2K19 has a lot to improved upon.

They changed simple shit last year, like being able to change your dude's skin tone, face shape, changed up the whole creator suite. I wanted to put cornrows on my nigga, they got these ol' sea urchin lookin' ass braids with the Waybach hairline.

Look, if you didn't like 2K18, and you're pre-ordering 2k19, and all they showed you was the goddamn cover and a screenshot, you're entitled to that, but also realize that you're a sucker ass nigga.

Totally agree...I love what nba live is doing but I am not ready to drop 2k just yet...one more bad year and I am done...

I loved Live 18, only reason I played 2k was legend teams and all time rosters. They neutered the CAP more horribly. How the same company who allows you to make dead on copies of wrestlers in WWE2K have such horrible CAP feautures!!?? Live has work to do but I loved The One, the gameplay is a bit stiff but I played Live a lot more than 2k this year. I preordered Live already, cuz I have 18, 19 only costs me $40

• They missed the (ECGDC) East Coast Game Developers Conference in April..... Didn't say a word about anything.
• They missed the (PAX) PAX East Conference in April..... Didn't say a word about anything.
• They missed the E3 Convention in June..... Didn't say a word about anything.

Not even sure if 2K will even attend the annual Gamescon in Germany, in August.

It doesn't eat up their (vastly growing) marketing budget & they can be filmed + edited + uploaded in a single day.

NBA Live will catch up to them. It's only a question of 'when'.... Not 'if' anymore.

Personally, I think NBA Live's gameplay will probably catch them by next summer 2019.

Best believe as soon as THAT happens... all these 2K dudes will be SCRAMBLING to attend every LAST gaming Conference there is... and dropping Developer Diary videos... and actually responding to gamers on Twitter-n-shit... and providing all kinds of useful info UPFRONT... all year long.
