Ok... take KD out if my statement. LeBron is averaging 3 pts in the 4th quarter and 10 in the second half shooting 40%. GS isnt dominating start to finish but have won based on huge second half runs. That being said, how does this not impact his legacy again?KD ain't got to worry about shit all game. He doesn't need to worry about crashing the boards. He doesn't need to be the team's assist man. Only thing has to do is be a primary scorer at the end of the game. That's an easy job to do. We know what KD is made of... he couldn't do the shit when he was in OKC when he had to carry the squad with one other superstar.
I think they may see something they like in Liggins, defensively, he is a freak of nature strait out of the Kawhi Leonard mold, being 6'6 with 6'11 wing span.. I know for a fact that the Cavs like those bigger versatile defenders who are able to guard multiple positions and I think its Liggins versatility that is intriguing them the most..
Shumpert has the potential of one day being a better over all player, but maybe not in the Cavs system, with all the player in front of him, while Liggins is more of a specialist who's role may fit them better, especially in the perimeter defense vs the shooters on the Warriors..
I doubt if any team will be silly enough to give up a first round for Shumpert, so I think its more about pure economics and choosing between Shumper vs both Liggins and perhaps MaRae, one a offensive specialist and the other a versatile defender who can defend the perimeter.
I know Shump is like family on that team, but one mistake championship teams often do is fall in love with roll players thus becoming stagnate, all champion teams need just the right amount of new blood to keep things fresh and new..
They said at half time what I've been saying and getting killed for for years, that is there are only but 4 teams or so that can match up with the Warriors, so keeping that in mind they should be ok...
I really don't think the Clippers have the legs to keep up with them and to me I doubt if the Spurs could beat the Warriors in a 7 game series, as far as the Cavs they played them close without Durant and its going to come down to the Warriors ability to guard the paint and the Cavs ability to hit the open shot.. So in spite of all of that its still going to be a very close series if its the Warriors vs the Cavs..
They have 8 points from the bench and this is coming from a team that had the best bench for years..
They too was an incomplete team that looked great on paper.. People underestimate the value of roll players and love to star watch... You really need only two superstars on a team and capable roll players often when you have three superstars one of them is forced to play the roll of a roll player, the problem is they may not be as good as a professional roll player..
Some of the freakiest hoes ive dealt with are MJ dickriders. But theyre women, riding dicks is what they posed to do.
Truth is that Lebron relies heavily on his athleticism. He doesn't have a go to move, post move or a reliable jumper. When he can't attack the rim due to the defense of fatigue, he is not the same playerOk... take KD out if my statement. LeBron is averaging 3 pts in the 4th quarter and 10 in the second half shooting 40%. GS isnt dominating start to finish but have won based on huge second half runs. That being said, how does this not impact his legacy again?
Its not even abouy GS beating them, that was expected and Ive gone on the record saying a series loss shouldnt hurt his legacy. But the fact hes choked EVERY game in the second half does. People can blame the role players all they want but when your STAR is giving you 3 ppg in the 4th they need to be called on that shit...
If youre playing a better team and lose cool, but dont contribute to all the loses by giving them 3pts in 4th qtrs.... all im saying...
He's never tired when they win. I didn't see anything about him being tired while damn near sweeping thru the East.
They were off for almost a week before the first game.
Was this supposed to be good or funny?
I hear the media try to compare this Warrior team with the Heat and Celtics, but to me its more like Ray Allen going to the Heat, where as by the system was already intact and the team already made it to the finals..
The Warriors are not building a new system, they are running or should be running a modified version of what worked last year... Whats kind of scary is that they are under performing with the big three putting up numbers, I think it would be better for them if someone like Duran or Curry was off then you could say that once they get going they would be good to go..
But from what I seen about the Warriors this year, is that offensively they are do much more one on one iso ball, this is not a biggie because they match up very well one on one vs most teams, but unlike last year I am not seeing as much ball movement..
Then their is no lift from the bench and this is going to be a factor in the playoffs vs deep teams, I agree with Van Gundy when he says he thinks they may make a trade or two to fortify this weakness..
Lastly there is the lack of interior defense, well defense as a whole to be exact, it seems like this season they either play the perimeter or the paint, but not both like last year.. They are going to have to work better at team defense and being disciplined with their individual assignments, this I believe may be the easiest to fix but its going to take a lot of time and hard work, yet is no guarantee it will work especially with Curry and Thompson (to quick players but lack the proper foot speed on defense to stop one on one dribble penetration), with out a rim protector cleaning up their mistakes its going to be tougher for them on defense..
These are the three things I think the Warriors need to work on, if they want to get back at their level of last season...
I don't know if you remember the me talk about the big three the first year in Miami, when I said the same thing early about the Heat... It was to the point that people was calling me a hater (typical bgol bullshit!) but that team did seem to get it together vs lesser teams but as I warned the Heat fans all that season, as soon as they played a team like the Mavs who could exploit their main weakness its going to be trouble..
Now I am not saying that this is going to happen to the Warriors, because as you rightfully pointed out its very early in the season... But what I do and what I always do is look for patterns and try to find out what style of play seems to bother teams..
The reason why I point out flaws on the Cavs and the Warriors the most its not because of hate, but because they are the two most interesting teams and on paper best teams in the NBA>...
No I never said it was you... LOL...
But compairing teams is not fair and if you notice I seldom do it... What I do is look for patterns and every team have their own pattern... Remember I was one of the few to say the Warriors have problems with dribble, penetrating teams who can also hit the outside shot and slow down the pace... Well I came up with this after seeing them struggle at times vs the bigger east coast teams like the Raptors, Bulls and even the Spurs and Cavs... Now the Warriors would win many of those games but the size did seem to make them uncomfortable..
This year its even more evident, and with Durant on the team and so many faces gone, its one of my point of emphasis of what to look for in their play..
The season is still young and their problems may not be that hard to fix, however as I said it may (or may not) involve personnel changes something that is difficult with the superstars they have in their starting lineup...
The problem with Barns is that he had one of the Cavs best defensive players on him most of the time either James or J.R. this is unlike what he saw on most teams that would give so much attention to Curry and Thompson leaving him wide open..
Even if they did sag in the paint, their ability to close out made things very uncomfortable to Barns and with good defenders he could not attack the rim..
Even when they put in Igudala and Barboa in the game they also had problems scoring..
What gives the Warriors the most fits is if you can match up with them with out having to double up... What the Cavs did was often switch up and sometimes trap, but seldom were they forced to double up or stray too far from their defensive assignment...
If you can do this, players like Barns become ordinary (as in the case of what happening this season)..
So last year vs the Cavs he was playing like he normally plays, the way he is playing this season, due to the fact that they are not forced to give the other players special attention..
I asked you to bet me LeBron would never win another chip and you declined. Wasnt willing to make that wager.![]()
Yea I have a problem with an amount I suggested.
Get off it man. Last year you was sure bout the Warriors, so sure Wardell Jr. was better than Bronand now youve backed off and are more humble, more contrite, more measured in your words. Its ok man, we understand. After that collapse you dont trust em like you used to.
Lets not change the subject; lets stay focus shall we; Put your money where your mouth is; If I didnt trust them I wouldnt have agreed to your bet; You are the one that dont trust your boy; because you refused to back up your own words; now if you trust your boy like you claim then back you own words; dont run from your words coward; be a man; otherwise dont post shit about LBJ....
Bruh you know your $500 is gone.Dont run Finals time either. None of that "I was vacationing in Australia" shit. We bout to see just how much you really rock wit these Dubs.
Mofo went from Steph the best player last year to now its KD.![]()
Dude again deflecting..i know your a bitch made coward who scared to even back up his own words..and 500 lol, who really thinks I'm worried about that?clearly I'm not because I took the bet..but you sir are steady running and backing up; talk mad shit like most niggas do but when it comes time to pony up, like most niggas, #crickets.....
Dude you worried, tryna create bets to offset ones you know you gon lose. I miss the old Day_Carver from last year that said no one can beat the Warriors in a series. The one who defiantly said 1 MVP, 1 chip Steph was better than 4x MVP, 2 chip LeBron all last year. But acted like a pissy bitch when Excelsior said Kyrie could be better than Kobe.
This new Day_Carver sucks, no swagger, no juice, no braggadocio like last year. Cavs neutered this dude.
Its not about money dude. I first proposed a bet to you and the amounts. If you didnt have faith in your bet you shouldnt've made it. Period. Making 3 or 4 counterbets to offset it is weak.
What I do for a living? I swindle guys online for they loot in easy bets. Keeps the heat and lights on bro.
At the end of the day you dudes thats "indifferent" to LeBron can be some of the most intellectually dishonest obtuse mofos man.
This season is gonna be fun tho.![]()
Just dont run this time. Take the good with the bad. I do like that youre more humble now bout the Dubs.
You right its alot of bitches out here. Pop shit when they team up 2-0 on some Scrappy Doo shit then pipe down real quick when J's turn to bricks and cats cant close deals. Pressure bust pipes. Dont nobody respect that toe in the water ho shit.
At least you showed up tonight. Finally growing balls. Let me guess Barnes is why they lost tonight?
You bout to make me $500 richer in June. Your money gone.
Day_Carver dont talk about the Warriors like last year cuz of nights like this. When they was winning 20 straight Scrappy Doo couldnt shut the fuck up bout these dudes. Now his posts only be about wanting to make more bets with me to get his money back and crying bout LeBron.
Thanks for the straight up answer Bruh... dudes stay plea coppin so your response was refreshing...Truth is that Lebron relies heavily on his athleticism. I was asked why I picked the Cavs in 7. I replied, because I'm bad at picking winners. I go the oppositeQuiet group.
