With 155 votes, the 2019 BGOL Point Guard Mt Rushmore was Magic, Isiah, Oscar and then a tie for fourth place between Steph and Stockton.

One would suspect a different result five years later...

You can write in Tiny Archibald, Walt Frazier, Lenny Wilkens or any other omissions in the comments! Bob Cousy and Mark Jackson just couldn't make the list this time around, added new folks like Kyrie Irving and Ja Morant for consideration.

If your choice is not named in the poll, just vote for three options and post in the comments who else you think should be included.

Steph has cemented himself as top 2. Zeke brings up 3. Afterwards... Personally jkidd offered everything at some point in his career like the jump shot to help win that Dallas chip!

Dame not on there

Need another category for combo guards

Not an oversight-- You could argue him over an admittedly premature addition like Ja but he's not knocking many people off this top 20 list or realistically in many people's top 4.

That's the category Steph Curry, Kyrie Irving, Allen Iverson, Ja Morant, and Russell Westbrook should be in. They aren't traditional point guards like the others.

This ain't The Traditional PG Mt. Rushmore.

The Warriors main backcourt has been Klay & Steph and it is pretty clear who the PG was.

And CP3 has never played combo? Russ never functioned as a more traditional point? It's not as clear cut as you would paint it.

@380snubnose with a Magic-less and Steph-less Mt. Rushmore-- Unconventional!

Living up to the name with the snubs! Mt. Snubmore!

Magic was great but didn't make my team..
and Steph fell under the Allen Iverson curse..being he's just an elite scorer...an that don't make u a great point .if it's between Steph an Westbrook .. Westbrook won cause he's a more complete point guard .man averaged a triple double like 3 straight seasons..

no snubs ..I just just think Steph an Iverson more like shooting guards in a point guard body

This alone makes anything you say about sports irrelevant. Look at any position in the history of sports. There's only 2 unquestionable people at their position. Jerry Rice at WR and Magic at PG. Jordan may be the GOAT but, Kobe, is a discussion, even if it's a small one, some people will say Kobe is better. There is no PG in the history of the NBA that can make a claim at being #1 and you will look like a fool trying to say anyone else.

How dare you think that you can have an opinion on BGOL. Someone will ask you for your opinion, then someone else will demean you for answering.

Instead of saying something like, "Hey Bruh, how did you come up with that summation?" You'll get something like, "You are a complete idiot because your opinion is different from the rest of the herd."

I've made up my mind that being insulted is one of the costs of being on the board... Keep it moving, Bruh.

anyone that doesn't have Magic and Oscar in their top is either young or extremely biased. Look at how they effected the game. Anybody can put up points, but how did they control the offense, did they play defense, rebound, etc on a consistent basis. We shouldn't do the what if game because thats not logical. what if iverson was 6'6, what if magic was a better 3 point shooter, what if d rose didn't get injured, what if stockton was black,we can go on and on,

You can’t discount his opinion then offer an even worse take of saying the most overrated player in NBA history is in the greatest player ever discussion

I didn't realize this started in 2014! So this is the third, every 5 years-- 2014, 2019, 2024.

The 2014 list: Magic- 96%, Thomas- 75%, Oscar- 72%, Stockton- 64%. Very distant 5th was Jason Kidd- 31%.

That was 112 votes. Decent sample. We're at 69 now. Thomas is at 69%, Oscar has fallen all the way to 40%. Interesting.
