Doncic is the truth and this era’s Arvydas Sabonis as far as talent and impact. (when Sabonis was in his prime, not when he was in the NBA). Having international success for his country is going to be another sign of that.
He’ll surpass Dirk Nowitzki (something I’ve stated in the past already) which means 2+ titles.

I don't know how you want me to qualify it. I'll say w/ Dallas, you can give Kyrie the PG and with LAL it's Bron or Austin Reeves. I haven't watched OKC much this year. But I'll say that Jokic is the best pg if we're going to let Shai and Luca be pg's.
We're in a period of position-less basketball, partially why it's hard to watch. FWIW, Steph ain't the pg of his team either. Draymond ran that offense and Steph is the traditional 2 guard. I don't think your pg should be taking 20+ shots/game and finishing most possessions like they do now.

Rather than "you can," lets stick to what is.
Reeves has always been regarded as a SG, LeBron has never been listed as a PG, or on an all-NBA or all-star ballot as a guard, let alone as a PG... It would be a lot less reasonable to include one of them in a PG conversation than Luka.
Irving was always classified as the SG when he was with Luka in Dallas.
Most importantly... If you Google "Luka Doncic" right now, he comes up as a PG. When he has had a position on a ballot, it has always been as a guard.
Shai is even less of a conversation. I've never seen him regarded as anything but a PG.
So all it takes is for someone else to call some player a PG and they’re a PG? Style of play, initiating offense, managing (mis) matchups, getting teammates involved don’t matter? There have been times when the player listed at PG wasn’t doing any of that, so what makes them a point guard? AI was listed as a pg but the pg duties went to Eric Snow, Ron Harper was listed at PG but Pippen started the offense and “they” called him a point forward, Jokic is more of a pg for his team than Murray is, there are a bunch of examples. To me point guard is a role you play for team more than being the guy that dribbles the ball the most.
I guess both are combo guards but I lean more towards shooting guards for them; some say that Steph leans more shooting guard..
