Larry Bird
LeBron James
Elgin Baylor
Dominique Wilkins

EDIT: Scottie Pippen ????---Because all his greatest successes came with Michael Jordan, there is a tendency to either overrate or underrate Pippen. Everyone can agree he was a remarkably versatile player, an outstanding defender and a key member of six championship teams. But how was he without MJ ? True the season MJ went to stink up Minor League Baseball, Pippen played his ass off and was in the MVP discussion as well.

Lebron Bird Dr J and Baylor

Hate to leave Wilkins off but he wasnt a better player than any of those dudes

Dr. J?

To not even consider Scottie Pippen makes this whole thread invalid to me. Sorry to anyone who takes offense to that. Jordan didn't win anything without him just as much as the vice versa. The whole Laker series changed once Pip was put on Magic. Pippen was always guarding the other teams best players so that Jordan could do work on the offensive end. Once again it just shows that all sports "fans" really care about is who is scoring all the points or touchdowns. Never mind how one player can completely open things up for another player.

Pip was great and should be considered in any talks of NBA greatness, especially when you make the category about small forwards. The term point forward was invented by Scottie. SMH. It kills me how the guy never gets appreciated by so many people.

Pippen is in the poll, dude... Currently placing fourth, good enough to make the cut.

Pippen, Bird, And Lebron are locks IMO. To me I'd vote Melo as my fourth. It's not a popular 4th pick but it's mine.
