I strongly agree with you. This is the problem with Hollywood right now. They are rehash and everything instead of doing something new. Even black Hollywood has falling in the trap.

Fam, there are so many scripts out there and screenwriters with fresh ideas that are getting killed in the pitch room because Hollywood is obsessed with "Playing it safe" and creating things from existing IP. And it seems no matter how many of them flop they just keep greenlighting more. This shit is TIRING.
