Horror flicks are always low budget..horrors and comedies.. they are cheap to make and make good flips.. 1-10 million dollars to make and can flip to 60 mill-100 mill sometimes more.. literally this been my argument forever on here that I would rather get a 200 million dollar budget and make a bunch of low budget horror and comedy flicks and flip them than 1 big budget comic book flick.. you literally make a shitload of content , you literally make more money altogether.. I literally said Netflix and other streaming sites/studios should make more low budget flicks so they could build bigger libraries.. give me saw, upgrade, 3 o clock high, I’m gonna get you sucka, etc over dr strange 2 any day

Anything coming to life would scare individuals because to them it would be part of the supernatural.. spirits, ghost, possessed things of that nature would cause fear in the majority of people.. than throw in the fact it got a weapon in its hand well most people lack hand to hand combat skills so a possessed being with a weapon would scare the shit out of a lot of people
It’s just reality of the way white people view the world especially hollyweird.. they only see it through a cacs point of view.. kinda like ny.. they don’t think of Harlem, Washington heights, certain parts of Brooklyn or the bx, they think of midtown, downtown, 5th avenue shit like that..they don’t explore above 86 st and it’s obvious why cause they only care and think of the white areas.. so your scripts didn’t appeal to them cause they didn’t see themselves on the screen and didn’t feel a connection to the characters.. but when you make the characters pale it appeals to them and they could see it appealing to a demographic that they mostly care about which is white people.. this is 1 of the reasons why I be complaining/debating certain articles that were obviously thinking about white people and some individuals on here be thinking they talking about people as a whole.. like if it’s talking about struggling with dating or interacting with females it’s from a white point of a view they not thinking about any other race. How do you keep your screenplays or your stories or story ideas from getting stolen? I know the poor man's copyright does not work I don't know if it ever has, but I have a ton of really great ideas so I was wondering if you were doing an elevator pitch how to keep that idea by getting stolen from the person you're telling it to?

I never done a pitch but my boy did and he was actually pitching my script to HBO. They didn’t use any of my story but one exec did coverage (examined review with notes) and had compared it to the earlier seasons of the wire. That was a show and mine was a feature. Years later, I’m watching a British show called The Bodyguard and watch the intro to my old script play out before my eyes.

You should see the dozens upon dozens of C grade movies with terrible, shitty effects that literally mimic big budget films. They could try to fight it out with litigation but the cast is too much and the lawsuit actually brings free advertising to the crappy film.
