Spidey and friends reacting to someone being hit by a brick
Disney+ has revealed all of the episode titles and schedule, as well as critic reactions are in for Your Friendly Neigbourhood Spider-Man.
Here are some of the the reactions out now for the Marvel Animated series; critics have been given access to watch all 10 episodes:
A Spider-Man News page on Twitter/X has mentioned the show ‘is not only just amazing, it’s also spectacular. The show is full of references and moments that I think everyone will love, with Colman Domingo’s performance as Norman Osborn stealing the show.’
TJ Zwarych; who has previously written a Moon Knight series premiere review for our site reacted to the Spidey series: ‘There are unique twists to Spidey’s journey while remaining true to the character, delivering a truly great Spider-Man series.’
Neil Vagg from the Get Your Comic On site praises the design: ‘It’s a bit of a slow burner but the pacing allows for some super cool character development. The Ditko, pop-art design work really pops. One of Spidey’s best animated series.’
Joshua Ryan from FandomWire writes: ‘Had a blast with it! It feels nostalgic of the classic 90’s animated series I grew up on while using the multiverse to bring fresh visions and perspective to fan-favorite characters.’
The series is not set in the sacred timeline
Animated civil war scene from Your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man: Giant-Man, Captain America and Bucky

The series will be showing similar events at the start to the airport fight scene from Captain America: Civil War.
Although in this universe, Peter Parker is guided and equipped with advanced suits by Norman Osborn instead of Tony Stark.
There are more changes such as Peter being at school with Harry Osborn, Nico Minoru, Amadeus Cho and his other friends instead of Ned, and Mary Jane isn’t in this.
Tom Holland is not involved in this as series, as Hudson Thames is voicing Peter Parker/Spider-Man. Thames previously voiced a version of Peter in What if…? (See the full cast list here).
